Alphard always knew where to find Ara . She always knew in her heart that she would never lose him in a crowd. He was her backbone. Her first friend and her most cherished partner . He was there for her in all the hardship she faced . When she fought against marrying Orion he was her only fighter . He was ready to die for her. She knew and feared this fact .
" A penny for your thoughts" Alphard's voice came from behind her.
"I was thinking about you... about how thankful I am that you are in my life" She looked at him her gaze soft . Suddenly she hugged him .
"Lucky man ... getting hugs from the Ara potter" Alphard said as if he's talking to a little girl.. she was used to him pampering her .
" my little baby girl feels like getting pampered? Hmm " he asked slyly still treating her carefully .
She sighed as a little girl and nodded. "Be my dance partner...I want to get out of the stressing atmosphere"
"No explanation needed love your wish is my command" Alphard said poshly kissing her hand . As they danced the memories of their past together rushed back while they were enjoying the company.
Mia and flaemont were watching them from afar. " they say love is blind " flaemont said. " hell no ...love is oblivious " mia sassed shaking her head at the pair . "Ara is everything a man wants yet her obliviousness is something else how did she not notice" mia said in hushed tone . " That's a potter thing " flaemont shrugged and she laughed . "Everyone was waiting for them to fall in love and get together... Alphard was preparing to ask her out when the thing with Orion happened " mia told her husband the secret she held in for long. " it's a mess" flaemont huffed shaking his head.

Sirius couldn't sleep that night . He felt his heart pounding in his ears. The soft snores of sleeping peter filled the night . " Prongs? Are you awake?" He tried to find solace in his new found cousin. " wide awake pads" James whispered back as he sprawled wide awake. " I feel like I'm in a dream. I'm... I'm...close ...to be ...free.... from...hell...from them..." Sirius sobbed .
James felt for his friend.so he acted like all the potters do . He held him as he cried out soothing him with calming words. He thought about his aunt and held his new found cousin and best mate close . 'She would have done that for him..for any one ' James thought as he drifted to sleep with sirius clinging into him.
At the other end of the castle. Barty sat next to regulus and Evan looking out of the astronomy tower. " I can't believe you two get to see her every day while poor me cherish the memory of her . No fair". Evan purred " Evan I swear to merlin I'll kill if you say anymore words about my mom." Barty barked .
" remind me why did I agree to bring you two here ?" Regulus said faking annoyance.
" because you love us" Evan said " and I'm your brother now" barty grinned. " idiots " regulus through punches there way and stood to go back to his room. It's been a long day and he needed rest . however he couldn't stop his brain from wondering about the expectations that will fall on his shoulders in this new dynamic he found himself in.
