Another Chance

Chapter 6

Over the next few weeks, I tried to avoid David and Madison, and I was successful. That was until I was heading out of school and he was following me.
"Tay?" He called out but I ignored him and kept walking.
" Tay...." He trailed off standing right in front of me.
" Can you excuse me David?"
"Tay, my love, I'm really sorry,"
" Get the hell out of my way. Don't you have Maddie took take care of? " I said and he sighed.
" I never knew she was cheating on me,"
"(Scoff) I can't believe you. You're a heartless piece of garbage. I loved you David and you stand here, telling me...that you're not with me, because another girl because she lied to you?! Did you ever love me?"
" I did. Okay? I swear I did. Just one night...that night you saw her at my place.... I kinda lost control and we did it...but..."
" If she didn't 'cheat' on you...would you have left her?"
"... I'm sorry,"
" Just wow David... How many girls have you cheated on me with since we started dating four years ago?"
" Four"
" Really? One each year, huh?"
" It's not like that.  I'm sorry,"
" Wow. Well, I'm over you, okay?"
" Wait... Tayla said you lost your virginity, but I don't believe her,"
" She's my sister, she has no reason to lie," I said proudly and the look on his face was priceless. I knew that he so badly wanted to be the one to pop my cherry, but, I guess he won't be.
With that, I walked away, leaving him.

        Later On:

Karma hit them like a ton of bricks. People made fun of them in crazy ways. Madison stopped coming to school gradually and David became a shell of himself. I almost felt bad for them, because Madison was quite soft and things easily got to her, but then, what was my business.
The last I heard of them after I left the country was that Madison went into depression and attempted suicide twice. David dropped out and Madison was made to live with him. Shawn, not surprisingly, denied both she and the baby and left, so it was just the two of them.
I, on the other hand, started college and I also had a part time job and I was doing well.
Well, that was until, I found out I was pregnant. A baby was growing inside of me!!!!
     I called Zane to forward Nic's number but he said, He packed his things and left. He also left behind his phone. He had vanished into thin air.
I told no one except Zane and Tayla and they promised to keep it a secret from everyone.
So long as I could live comfortably and feed both myself and my baby.... I was not telling anyone else.
