Jaydin slowly opened his eyes again. He saw he was back in the ruins of Ultra Megalopolis. His thoughts quickly went back to what he saw.
'What was that thing? I feel like it knew me somehow...' he said to himself.
His thoughts were broken when he noticed Marshadow in front of him. Said Pokemon started to lose his balance. Jaydin quickly ran over to him and caught him before he fell. He picked him up. He looked extremely tired and was barely awake.
"Hey buddy, are you doing okay?" Jaydin asked softly.
"Yeah...just tired..." he whispered.
Jaydin smiled. "I hear ya buddy."
"Did we win?" Marshadow whispered.
Jaydin looked up and saw Necrozma back to normal and still unconscious. He didn't see any black and red electricity, nor any killing intent from it. Solgaleo was near him, and was also still unconscious.
"Yeah...I think we did" Jaydin said as he looked down at him again.
Marshadow smiled. He looked up at Jaydin again.
"Hey...Jaydin?" He asked.
"What's up?" He asked.
"Thank you...for being in my life..." Marshadow whispered.
Jaydin warmly smiled at him. "Thank you for being in mine..."
The two hugged each other as they smiled happily.
He suddenly heard sounds coming towards them. He turned and saw Zoroark and the rest of his team running up.
"Jaydin!" They all said.
They engulfed him and Marshadow in a hug.
"We were so worried!!" Zoroark said.
"Don't EVER scare us like that again!" Togekiss added.
"That goes for you too Marshadow!" Audino added.
"You both nearly gave us heart attacks!" Greninja said.
"You both kicked ass though!" Duraludon said.
Jaydin chuckled. "Thanks guys, we wouldn't have won if it weren't for you all."
"As long as we're all together, there's no opponent we can't beat!" Zoroark said.
"Damn right!" Greninja said.
Everyone else agreed as well. Eventually they all separated. Jaydin saw Reeka's Pokemon tending to Lunala, who was a little more awake by this point. He didn't see Reeka though.
Just as he was about to look he felt a pair of arms wrap around his back. He looked and saw Reeka holding him tightly while her body shook.
"I'm so happy you're okay...!!" She said with her eyes closed while crying tears of relief.
Jaydin was surprised at first. He suddenly felt the warm and fuzzy feeling he's been having lately. This made him softly smile as his face relaxed. He lifted his arms up and wrapped them around Reeka's back. He closed his eyes as the two held each other close.
Reeka slightly opened her eyes and saw everyone else looking at them. Noivern's jaw dropped from seeing the sudden hug.
Reeka's eyes shot open as her blush intensified. She quickly let go of Jaydin and hid her embarrassed face with her hands. Jaydin just smiled at her. Although internally he was slightly bummed out that the hug ended.
"S-S-Sorry about that!" Reeka stuttered.
"It's alright" Jaydin said.
That was only half true though. He secretly didn't want the hug to end, feeling great joy being hugged by her. This confused him a little but remembered the conversation he had with Zoroark.
