Jungkook walked inside his office after he got well, he saw that girl entering the lift. He just wanted to apologize but how could he do that infront of others. So he waited till the lunch break and when he found her sitting alone, he walked to her. The girl saw him and looked down.
"I am sorry for that day, I was having a hard time but it still doesn't justify that but I hope you understand." He nodded with understanding and she softly smiled.
"I am happy you took the accountability." She stood up."You are a nice man, everyone keeps talking about that."
"Nice to hear that." He turned around but she called him out and he looked at her.
"Are you free tonight? Maybe we could have some coffee." She bit her lips in nervousness.
He raised his hand and pointed at his wedding ring.
"I am married."
"Happily?" She asked looking into his eyes and he looked out of the window.
"Yes." He lied and tilted his head."And even if I am not. That's my business to care, you will get a nice guy, I can't be available. Thanks for the medicines though." He bowed his head and walked out and the girl sighed.
"His wife doesn't care about him or else why would she let her husband eat out when he was sick? While he is still loyal? Appreciable." She sat down, she had a crush on him.
Jungkook loosened his tie as he entered his office. He would ask himself sometimes if he was really happy in this marriage. Sarah wasn't, as far as it seemed but she was happy around other people but Jungkook, he wasn't happy anyway possible.
He didn't know if he would divorce her ever or not but the question was would he be able to move on from her ever? Or live a life without her existence? After all what they experienced together?
Maybe he still loved her, but he couldn't stand her presence so he was confused. These questions always got him a headache so he would always avoid these questions.
On the other hand Sarah was amused by the sculptures. Taehyung was a nice friend, he kept her entertained.
She needed a friend to fulfill the void in her life that Jungkook had created for her.
She was someone who wouldn't grieve infact she would try to forget the source of her hurt and try to distract herself. She wasn't someone who would cry for a long time over anything.
It was her coping style, she would get breakdowns and flashbacks but then she would ignore all that and start doing something she liked so avoid the pain. She didn't like to talk about her trauma aswell.
"Where's your creative work?" Sarah asked holding her bag.
"You are going to buy it?" Taehyung raised his eyebrows.
"Maybe, I have a lot of money in my savings account, might as well buy something if I like it." She shrugged her shoulders.
Jungkook handled her money, because she couldn't so she gave him that responsibility. He was supposed to plan her retirement and every expense.
He would tell her, her monthly budget and invest her money or save it because she would spend everything recklessly but from the past 1 year, he had stopped doing that so she had the money to herself now.
"Hmm, I won't let you leave me. Rich friends always do me a favour." Taehyung chuckled.
"How much percentage will you get?" She asked.
"30%." He sighed.
These sculptures would be sold to rich people at a good cost but the creators would be paid much less. But then Taehyung had a small studio so he couldn't attract much buyers and even 30 percent was a lot.
"That's capitalism on it's peak." Sarah asked and then looked at him with an idea."You know what? I have an idea." She held his hands with a big smile and a shiver ran down his spine.
"What is it?" He asked in a low tone. Her hands were so soft.
"I will pay you a good amount. How about you make a sculpture for me? To put in my office? My house has run out of space to accommodate any further artwork but I love it." She suggested.
"That can be done." He nodded.
"Good then, I will buy that sculpture art only." She smiled and walked past him to explore the exhibition.
Taehyung put his hands in his pocket and took a deep breath, it was difficult to breath freely around her, she made him nervous.
With her smile and brightness in the eyes, Taehyung could sense many more things. She was a mystery of emotions, her eyes were bright and dull at the same time. Everytime he met her, he wanted to keep meeting her and know her better.
She was like a book, he wanted to unravel every page of emotions and suffering of.
He walked to her as she stood against a specific artwork.
"You like it?" He asked her as he saw her reading the artist's note.
"Hmhm." She nodded sucking her lips as he scrutinized it through the glass walls.
"You got a date this time? Finally." A kind old man, the owner of the place smiled.
"No, I am married. He is a friend with common interests." Sarah smiled looking at Taehyung shortly.
"That's bad, you both really looked good together." The man sighed in disappointment and Taehyung chuckled looking at his feet.
"Sure, because you haven't met my husband, he really holds the charm and vibe." Sarah flattered.
"You are one loyal lady." The man complimented her and she chuckled looking at the ceiling."I would like to meet the lucky man."
"Sure if he is off work someday. The poor man keeps working for our future." Sarah shrugged her shoulders and looked at Taehyung with playful sadness and he gave her a gentle smile.
"That's bad, how can someone upset a beautiful young wife like you and make her wait for time and attention? Use the old French technique for such men." The old man playfully said and Sarah chuckled before he excused himself and left them alone.
"So?" Taehyung stood infront of her with a smile.
"So what?" She asked with a mischievous smile dangling on her lips.
"You need that drug French woman used to use?" He asked mischievously.
"Should I really use it on him?" She whispered to him in a playfull manner.
"You want to?" He asked.
"No, it's more fun when he is out, I don't want a mental pressure of someone waiting on me." Sarah shrugged her shoulders looking around.
"Does he?" Taehyung asked with a mix of seriousness and humor.
"Who won't when he has a wife like me?" She flaunted.
"True, I would worship the road you walked with flowers." Taehyung suggested in an exaggerated tone."You don't have to chase such high degree standard treatment Sarah, you are someone who can easily attract it." His voice turned husky.
"See, you explained it so well." Sarah said in irony as she shrugged her arms.
