Sarah was sleeping because of the medicines while Jungkook stood there in case she woke up. Her phone rang up, it was Taehyung. He declined it but then he again called her and this time Jungkook picked that up."Sarah, where have you been? I have made your-"
"She is sleeping. Don't call her again." Jungkook spoke rudely.
"And why is that? How can you answer her phone call in her stead and tell me that?" Taehyung asked.
"Because I am her husband." Jungkook replied.
"A husband who doesn't have time for her? You are more like a surname than a companion." Taehyung chuckled.
"She still carries that willfully, must still find me better." Jungkook hung up and sat with his wife.
Sarah was someone who would never be able to move on if she cried and grieved but if she pretended everything was fine, she would one day start feeling it.
Sarah loved her favourite people passionately. Too much, that the idea of separation killed her inside and it did each time her baby died.
She slowly grew numb to those deaths. That's why she was able to pretend she was normal because she had grown accustomed to the pain.
Jungkook suffered with the loss of his daughter but Sarah suffered with guilt and regret more than pain.
Atleast Jungkook couldn't be blamed but it was completely Sarah's fault. She just didn't want to speak about it and acknowledge it vocally. She knew it and it hurt her to accept that.
She wanted to fight that battle alone in her mind because no one could get her. It was a pathetic situation as a mother.
Jungkook held her hand when she moved in her sleep.
"Do you need something? The doctor said you fainted out of stress." Jungkook said as she sat up.
"Leave." She looked at her hands. Jungkook ignored that.
"I know you are not fine and this is not how I wanted you to speak out. It's very overwhelming but let's work together in this." Jungkook said anyway.
"Nothing is going to get fine now. I thought it could but we have grown apart so badly. You hate me and I don't need that right now." Sarah shook her head.
"No, that's not true, I love you. You are backing off now when things can get a bit better?" Jungkook seemed upset."You are the only woman I have ever loved."
"It can't go back to how it was before though." Sarah said weakly."This is more complicated than I thought, loving eachother won't help."
"Which relationship is not? Our relation is not something that can be broken by any chance." Jungkook held her hand.
"I want to leave." She stood up and he held her hand.
"Are you leaving me? You didn't do it for the whole year, why now?" He asked.
"You didn't talk to me for the whole year too, why now?" She removed his hand and left to walk on the road.
Was it better to leave Jungkook and live by herself or live with him and survive alone?
"Sarah." Taehyung turned her around."I called you before and your husband answered in a way it made me worried about you." Taehyung said.
"He is impulsive." Sarah defended her husband.
"Why don't you leave him then?" Taehyung asked.
"Because I can't. I am used to him, my day doesn't start without looking at him, or else I feel empty." Sarah explained.
"I feel the same about you. Unless we don't meet or I listen to you, I feel gloomy, I can't even do my work." Taehyung confessed.
"Considering our nice friendship, I will choose to forget what nonsense you just blurted out. Don't come infront of me, unless you are back to normal." Sarah turned around to leave and Taehyung stopped her way.
"Why did you come close to me then? You can't say we were just friends, I felt spark within us. You enjoy spending time with me, we are so compatible. How can you say all this then? Why did you use me to fill that empty void in your life?" Taehyung had tears in his eyes.
"Move out of my way." Sarah glared at him.
"Your husband will have to move out of the frame. It's my turn now to keep you happy." Taehyung said desperately.
"Shut up Taehyung. I will never leave him. It's all in your head." Sarah retaliated.
"Do you think I am a stupid thing you can use and then easily leave for no reason?" Taehyung scoffed holding her face."I will give you a week to think about us and if you don't give in, wait how easily I will destroy your life." Taehyung threatened her and left. She looked at his back, he seemed scary.
"Sarah?" Ria smiled walking to her.
"Don't you have some other work than showing your ugly face to me?" Sarah glared at her.
"Looking at you right now clearly speaks that your dayout with your husband didn't go so well." She chuckled and Sarah clenched her fists."How does it feel to have an empty married life?" She humiliated her and Sarah chortled.
"How does it feel to have no parents and social circle?" Sarah smiled and Ria's smile dropped shifting to a glare.
"Be in your limits." Ria groaned.
"Oh really sweetheart? You keep your pussy in your pants. My husband is too out of your league. I really appreciate the confidence though." Sarah tapped her shoulders and walked past her pushing her beside.
Ria scoffed in anger and walked ahead to find Jungkook searching for his wife. She smiled and walked to him before holding his shoulder. He looked at her.
"What happened?" She asked even if she knew the matter.
"Nothing." He didn't want to disclose Sarah left home with a disagreement.
"Is it because of your wife?" She asked pointing her finger on his chest.
"Did you see her?" He asked desperately.
"I don't know, she went away with some guy. Must be her friend." She acted nice and Jungkook looked down hurt."I was thinking of grabbing some coffee, want to join and talk?" She offered caressing his arm.
"No." He left to a bar.
