Sarah felt suffocated in the room, Taehyung would keep her locked most of the times. He was getting abusive and psychotic just because she refused to sign those papers. She literally cut her right hand so she didn't have to sign those papers and he still hoped she would give in.
Even after knowing she was lactose intolerant, he made her have it just to rile her up.
It had been days since she was here, Eunwoo was worried because he had run calls to her friends but no one knew where she was. He didn't tell this to Jungkook, he didn't want to worry him.
The police was finding Sarah now but Taehyung had his home in a very secretive place.
He opened the lights and Sarah closed her eyes, what was he upto this time? She didn't have the energy to keeping up with it. She was turning insane.
"Your husband is going to lose the case and rot in that cell for years." Taehyung chuckled as he closed the door."Ria said your husband didn't give up yet, he believes he will be able to prove himself innocent. Stupid." Taehyung smiled and sat beside her. Sarah looked at him weakly.
"Leave him. You are doing what you want with me anyway." She urged.
"No, I am not. You are not divorcing him, so I can't marry you rightfully. Too bad, he is paying off for your stubborness. That's so cruel of you." He trailed his finger down her face.
"I will sign that." She said in a low tone as she closed her eyes. He seemed surprised, he smiled.
"What did you say?" He asked again.
"Set him out all free and fine, leave him forever, and I will divorce him." Sarah said.
She didn't want Jungkook to suffer because of her. She would rather live with Taehyung than let Jungkook suffer.
"I will get the papers then." Taehyung stood up and Sarah held his hand.
"First, set him out with due respect. I don't trust you." She said looking at him.
"You want me to betray Ria and help Jungkook?" He again insured.
"I will marry you, just do it." She promised and he nodded.
The detective had been unsuccessful with finding evidence that could be used against Ria but with the texts and recordings that Taehyung sent anonymously to Jungkook's lawyer helped him set him out free.
Ria was held heartbroken with the betrayal, she was sentenced jail for accusing Jungkook wrongly and wasting court's time.
She couldn't get Jungkook but she was content she destroyed Sarah's life. She smiled thinking that in the jail. She had turned insane in her revenge.
Jungkook was happy and smiling as he got out of the charges with due respect, he even got the job back as the court ordered but he wanted Sarah.
"Thanks for saving me." Jungkook thanked Eunwoo and his brother."Where is Sarah?" He asked Eunwoo who looked at his brother, skeptical. He lied to Jungkook about her being fine while the police was searching for her."Why are you silent? She refused to meet me? Just tell me where she is, I will tell her the court's verdict myself." Jungkook smiled.
"Jungkook." Eunwoo gulped and exchanged glances with his wife."She has disappeared. We have filed a complaint but they haven't been able to find her."
"You lied to me? How could you?" Jungkook was heartbroken.
"Jungkook, I didn't want to worry you while you were in cell, you were helpless anyway. But trust me, we are trying our best. Dad has hired the best police team to find Sarah. She will be fine." Eunwoo held Jungkook's shoulder who pushed him.
"Shut up. You kept me in dark. I don't know where she is. If something happens to her, I will never be able to forgive myself for letting her down." Jungkook cried as he sat on the stairs.
"Here." A little kid gave him an envelope.
Jungkook looked at Eunwoo who shrugged his shoulders telling him he didn't know about it.
He opened the envelope and it was divorce papers, Sarah had signed them already. His heartbeat stopped and he could feel it to his core.
There was a letter too, it was handwritten. He read it as tears flew out of his eyes.
I thought about us many times and I don't think we should live together anymore. It's so messed up. I can't take it anymore. I want to live freely now. Hope you understand and forget us. Please sign the papers and set me free from our horrible marriage.
"No." Jungkook shook his head."She can't do this." He tore off the pages."I will never divorce her even if she asks for it in my face." Jungkook hid his face.
On the other hand Sarah sat silently as Taehyung sipped wine.
"Look, I kept my promise. I am not that bad unless I am mad." He smiled and touched her face."You signed it, I don't care about him, if he signs it or not. You are no longer associated with his name." He kissed her and removed her wedding ring."This finger deserves my ring now." Her nose bled with stress and he calmly wiped it off."You are not happy?" He asked looking into her eyes."Not like it matters. I just want you to look effortlessly gorgeous in the bridal gown I bought you. We will keep our marriage small and simple, because police is searching for you but soon we will fly abroad and no one will be able to either find us or separate us." Taehyung hugged her.
Sarah had never looked so dead and dull until now. She cried and Taehyung caressed her back, so happy with the idea of finally getting her, he didn't care if she cried.
"Please leave me alone." She whispered and he withdrew from the hug.
"I am making an exception today since you have been a good girl." He left her alone to cry.
She didn't even have a blade or something to kill herself with. Taehyung hid everything.
She looked at her bridal gown, when she was getting married with Jungkook. She woke up very early and couldn't have the patience and wore it, she felt so happy that day.
She remembered each second she spent with Jungkook, she could endlessly talk about how happy she felt all the time she was with him.
But now it was Jungkook's turn to be happy and painfree. Her separation could only buy her that so she did it. She wanted him to forget her and move on in life. She would take up all the pain for him now.
