After a few deeps the sound stops as the door starts to open.
You let out a deep sigh of relief. You hear the girls behind you cheer in excitement as they all push there way out of the half open door.
And as planned Nick was outside with a plane waiting for everyone.
"Good job" Nat says helping some of the weaker girls out
You look behind you seeing Steve carrying Bucky on his shoulder "you did it" he says to you
"Couldn't have done it without you Steve Rogers" you say "and also Bucky Barnes" you role your eyes as Steve lightly laughs walking out as well.
It was pitch black outside but there was fresher then ever. You couldn't imagine how happy the girls were faintly being free form that shit hole. Fury had also contacted there families of they could all see each other as soon as possible.
You check on last time no one was left behind then leave. The door closes. You look at it knowing it won't open again unless someone figures out the new password.
You get on the plane "good job Y/n" Nick fury says feasting his arm on your shoulder "you did good" he says
"Thanks" you say with a smile "what will happen to this place?" Yous so him
"Well would you like to do the honour?" He asks handing you a small remote control. It had a big red button in the middle "press that that button and this place will be finished for good" he says
"I'll press it with pleasure" you say pressing the button as the whole lab explodes burning down into nothing but sand.
The girls cheered and clapped as they saw it happen.
You stand there happy this mission is over. You look and see Steve walking towards you
"Can't believe this mission is finally over" he says. You ignore him. You know it wasn't his fault what happened with Bucky, but if he had warned you about these episodes that could of helped a lot "I'm sorry about Bucky, I thought if I would tell you would cancel the mission and you know how important this was to me" he says
"I know" you say
"So were you and Nat actually gonna kill us?" He asks
"No" you lie. Deep down you knew what the original plan was but you would never go with it "just said it" you tell him
"Good" he gets closer to you "because I don't know how to live without you" he says secretly holding onto your hand hoping no one notices. You hold his hand back then rest you head on his should as the two of you just look outside the window at the sky.
"I just wanna go home" you say
"Me too. I miss our bed" he says
"Ahhh me too" you tell him "the soft pillow, the warm blanket, oh the mattress" you say
"Your forgetting something" he says
"What you want me to say you?" You ask him
"Well yeah. Be honest can you sleep in that bed without me?" me asks
"I can.... I just don't like to" you say. You know that's exactly what he wanted to hear
"Good" he says tapping a kiss on the top of your head.
After a long day you and Steve finally get home.
"Home sweet home" you say "I never thought I'd say that" you tell him
"So what's for dinner?" Steve asks
"Shut up" you say making your way over to the couch. You grab the remote and play some music while you just relax on the couch. Steve hands you a glass of water as he has another glass for himself.
"Did you poison it?" You ask him jokingly
"Yeah. Now drink up" he says joking back. As he's listening to the first song end he hears another song starting to play "ohh I love this song" he says putting away his glass "stand up" he says
"No I'm exhausted" you say
"Oh come on. Dance with me" he says
"No Steve I don't do that" you say
"Just-" he grabs your hands lifting you up. You stand up and just lean on him as he moves and you just move with him.
You two slow dance in the living room "this is stupid" you tell him
"I know you like it" he says
He was right you do like it. You like everything about him. The fact you got to know him all over again and you are happy you did because you did like Ian but you love Steve
"Y/n Rogers suits you" he says
"Much more then Sara Hart" you say
"Yeah always hated that name" he says
As the two of you just laugh and continue to slow dance together.
