Jack slept on the bed while you put a couch next to the bed just in case anything happened. Steve stayed in the guest room.
All night you keep tossing and turning. You can't sleep.
You could hear some movement downstairs meaning steve couldn't sleep either.
You put a robe on and head downstairs where you see Steve in the kitchen grabbing a glass of water. The floor cracks and Steve quickly turns around
"Don't worry I'm not going to kill you" yous say as you go and grab yourself a glass as water.
"You can't sleep either?" He asks
"Nope" you answer as you take a sip "so how will this work?" You ask as you sit in the counter
"What do you mean?" He asks standing in front of you. Keeping one foot distance
"Do we sign for divorce? Act like nothing happened?" You ask. Tho you absolutely hate this marriage it still going to be weird not seeing Steve after seeing him every single day.
"How about we start form the beginning, and telling only the truth" he says "I'm Steve Rogers" he says
"I'm Sa- I'm Y/n Y/l/n" you correct yourself. Your so used to telling people your fake identity that it weird when you tell the truth. "I'm a agent working for the Red Room" you say
"I'm a agent working for S.H.I.E.L.D" he says
"Well I hate dogs" you say
"What about Bingo?" He asks
"He was never real. Just an excuse to keep you out of my stuff" you say
"Well I don't really like the roast that you make. It needs salt" he says
"You wanna know a secret? I don't make it, I order it" you say
"What?!" Steve say completely shocked
"I'm sorry I just don't have the time to cook" you say as he laughs "can I ask you one thing?" You ask
"Shoot" he says
"Did you ever take this relationship seriously?" You ask
"Of course I did. Most of it was forced but not all of it" he says
"Really?" You ask
"Mhm" he hums and gets closer to you "so what do we wanna do?" He asks
"I don't know and I'm to tired to try and think" you tell him
"Well that's a problem for later I guess" Steve says
You jump of the counter to head back upstairs you are very tired "don't kill me while I sleep" you say and Steve laughs as he finishes drinking his water then goes back to sleep.
You were up early the next morning as you wanted to be awake when Ashley got here. You played with Jack and fed him the food Ashley gave you. You gave him a diaper change and then just chilled with him on the couch.
Steve walk out of the guest room in only boxers. You could se who's whole body. You look at him as you have never found him this attractive before. He has broad shoulders and his hair looks good. His chest moving as he breathes.
"Not going to work?" You ask
"No thought I'd take the day off. Couldn't sleep" he says
"Yeah same" you tell him
"Well then you should also stay home today" he says. He notices your eyes fixed on his boxers as you can see the shape of his dick. He smiles to himself then walks over to the kitchen to get some water "do you want water?" He asks
"Sure" you say as you try to stay still as Jack is slowly falling asleep on you.
"Here" he hands you the bottle be sees you can't take it. He takes the lid off putting the bottle up to your mouth as you take sips. Some of the water running down your chin and snot your white shirt. Making it almost
see-through. He could see you nipples through the shirt. He tries his best to not look but can't. "Your shirts a bit wet" he says walking away.
The tension between you two is very obvious. You two haven't done it in weeks, and right now with every thing happening all you wanna do it rip off his boxers but you can't. "Y/n control yourself" you say say taking a deep breath
Exactly then the bell rings "that must be Ashley. Jack mommy is here" you say. Steve hides in the kitchen as you go open the door "look who it is"
"Oh my baby" Ashley takes him giving him as many kisses as she can "did he bother you?" She asks
"Not at all. He slept perfectly through the night" you say
"Oh that's great. Thanks you so much for everything, I knew I could trust you and Ian to take care of him" she says hugging you "please if you ever need anything I'm just a across the street" she says
"I'll keep that I mind" you say with a smile "so how is your dad?" You ask
"He's recovering nicely" she says
"Thats amazing" you say. You could tell Ashley wanted to talk more but you were really starting to get impatient "I'm actually getting late for work but how about we do something?" You ask her
"Oh of course I'd love to. I heard all the girls go on a weekly cafe date, we could join them" she says with a smile
"I'd love that" you say
"Okay then see you soon. Tell Ian I said thanks" she says then you close the door
You turn around and there is Steve looking at you. You could tell by the look in his eyes he was thinking the same thing as you. You walk closer to him as he takes a few steps closer to you.
"We are home alone" he says
"Yes we usually are" you say as you get closer to him.
"We should take more advantage of that" he says
"We really should" you say as your now inches away from his face.
