chapter twenty-eight
u l t i m a t e m o v eIt has been a couple of weeks since shit went down at the hospital with the League. UA continued with their classes, not wanting to attract the public more than it was necessary. Especially after the conference they had.
Thankfully, Recovery Girl was able to heal the rest of Yesi's and Arisa's wounds. However, just to be sure (forcefully ordered to by Jaxon), Arisa still attended two weeks of physical therapy. Her legs were a little weak, but it was no longer nothing major to worry about. Arisa and Yesi Armani had made a full recovery.
And so, unfortunately for the fifteen year old girl, she was back in school.
"I thought you were gonna die!" Her electrifying best friend cried, clinging on to her side as fat crocodile tears ran down his cheeks. "Don't you ever pull some of that shit again, Isa! I can't lose my bank— I mean my best friend."
The bluenette softly gasped at his last remark before a small smile appeared on her face as she ruffled his blond hair, "Come on, Den. I'm alive, aren't I? All thanks to you guys!" She grinned towards her classmates. "My brother told me you all made sure to protect me during the invasion, so thank you all."
Most of her classmates— being the girls, Kirishima, Sero, Izuku and obviously Denki, let out a dramatic wail, causing the girl to sweat drop as they all wrapped her in a tight hug.
"We're so happy you're back!" Ochaco cried, the rest of the girls nodding in agreement.
The door slammed open and their full attention went to the man waltzing in. "All of you shut up and take your seats."
In an instant they were in their respectful seats, Arisa sending a warm smile to the dual haired next to her. Todoroki returned the smile, looking away as soon as he felt his cheeks warming up.
"As you all know, we had gone to camp to train our Quirks to prepare you for the provisional license. However, seeing as we went through that little inci—"
"Little?!" Denki slammed a fist on his desk. "How dare you call that incident little, Mr. Aizawa?! She almost died!" He aimed a finger at his friend who was busy scribbling doodles on her notebook. "Have a little more empathy." The blond pouted.
Aizawa only sighed before rephrasing his words, "After that humongous unfortunate incident–" Denki nodded in approval. "Our training was cut short. So– beginning today, we'll go to Gym Gamma so you guys can practice your ultimate move."
"Our ultimate move?" That got the girl to perk up, head tilted to the side.
"That's right." Aizawa cautiously eyed his student. He didn't show it, but the guy obviously worries for his kids even if they're beyond annoying. "You'll continue to practice on your Quirks. Midnight, Ectoplasm, Cementoss along with myself will be helping you with this training."
"That's so awesome!"
Shouts of excitement were heard throughout the classroom. Surprisingly, their teacher patiently waited for them to finally shut up. "Also, if you need your suits updated it's best to do that right away. Now," he began to walk towards the exit. "Meet in Gym Gamma in fifteen minutes. Remember you only have ten days to grow stronger. Getting a provisional license isn't any easy task and it shouldn't be taken lightly. Understood?"
"Yes, sir!"
As the students began to scatter out of the room, Arisa stayed back— patiently waiting for everyone to be out of the classroom. Except for a specific someone. "Hey, wait!" Arisa called out, grasping the wrist of her savior. He spun around to face her, eyes widened in curiosity whilst slightly flustered.
