Chapter 11

{The sound of my heart was louder than the sound of rain outside}

TAEHYUNG'S POV

The season of rain has started.
The smell of soil,the sound of rain drops. Everything is so soothing.

The lecture was going on but my attention was outside the window. I was watching the rain. With a small smile.
Not knowing that someone was admiring me.

Y/N'S POV

Our seats has been changed. Taehyung has gotten a seat near the window. And I have gotten a seat right next to his row .

He was staring outside the window while I was staring at him . The smile was  glowing on his face . He was ethereal.

Time Skip ~

I was at the library. I inform my aunt that I will be late today . While studying I didn't knew how the time went .

I was immersed in a sum that I didn't knew someone came and sat beside me.

"Moonlight I think it's time to go home now"
Someone whispered in a gentle voice . That whisper made me flinch. And when I looked at the person it was Taehyung.

He had a worried expression and said,"Sorry. I scared you right?"

I gave him a small smile and said,"It's alright I just didn't expect you to be here . Weren't you at the basketball court?"

He answered," I completed my practice and thought of checking on you ."

"Oh . Well let me complete this sum and then we can leave." I said.
"Okay ~" He sang which made me chuckle.

TAEHYUNG'S POV

She was so focused in the sum and I was focused on her . The way her pupils enlarge when she solves the sum . The way she chews the back of the pencil .
"And I am not jealous of that non living thing. Definitely not ."

The pout and the frown on her face. She is so adorable that I want to squish her cheeks.

God damnit!  Control yourself Tae .

But hey I was mesmerized by her beauty . How can someone be this gorgeous while studying.

Ah ! Moonlight you are making me crazy.

After a while, she said in a soft voice,"Let's leave now partner  . I am done "

She was looking around and noticed that no one is there except us .
We were leaving and  I was about turn the knob but the door didn't open.

She asked," What's wrong partner?"
I said," The door is locked "
Her eyes widened and exclaimed," What !"
She tried opening the door but it didn't open.

"Guess we are stuck " She said with a defeated sigh .

I don't know what to feel now . But for now I need to find a way to get out of this room.

I looked around the library to find a way out but couldn't find it. The windows are a option but the library is at third floor so we can't risk it .

As I was thinking I heard a sound of thunder . Great! Just Great how can the situation get worst .

I looked at Y/n who was looking outside the window. I called out her ," Moonlight don't worry we can call someone from our phone"

She nodded her head and took the phone out of her bag . But as soon as we checked our phone there was no network in the phone.

She said," Partner there is no network in the phone now what will we do ?"

I said," Calm down let's spend our night here and in morning we can depart from here "

She agreed with a defeated sigh. We sat on the chairs and looked out of the window as it was raining like cats and dogs.

She asked in a soft voice," You like the rain right?"

I replied with a small smile," Yes rain has many memories with me "

She said," Hmm then would you like to share one of your memories with me ."

I said," Why not ."

I started," I was 10 years old when my parents were out of town due to their work and my brother was in his friend's house.
I was all alone in the house feeling lonely so I thought of going out in the park and play over there.

But suddenly it started raining so I was disappointed but then a boy of my age shouted and said,"Mom look it is raining can I go out and play? "

His mom was a bit hesitant. So I went to their home and said," Ahjumma let him play with me please " I gave her my puppy eyes.

She laughed and allowed him to play with me. We both made paper boats , jumped in the puddle, danced our heart out in the rain. We even collected insects.

Because of the rain I made a new friend. "

Y/n was staring at me with her lotus eyes. She was listening to me very attentively. When my story finished she asked,"What was that boy's name?"

I replied," Jeon Jungkook , and he was younger than me ."

She said," Wahh ! That story of yours was so cute. I would love to meet your old friend."

I chuckled at her reaction and replied,"Sure but even I don't know where he is now . "

"That's sad, but maybe in future you will meet him " she said.

We were talking and sharing our memories with eachother. We didn't know how or when but the sleep took over us .

We both slept on the desk in a library that too in a rainy night. Maybe her company was enough for me to sleep peacefully in this library.
