Chapter 25

{ Friendship a bond we all needed but never realised }

AUTHOR'S POV

It's been a week since Taehyung had an argument with his father. Both the Kims are giving cold shoulder to eachother.

They ignore their presence as if the other one doesn't exist. The atmosphere in the home has also changed. The once lively home has now turned as cold as a snow .

Taehyung's mood always lifts up when he is around his friends and especially with his moonlight.

Her presence was enough to lift his spirits up . Being in final year has made them busy but they still make time for eachother.

The late night walks and the bus rides are the only time they have their couple moments. The rest of the time is spent in the school or the library which accompany's Jimin and Na Eon.

The four friends are always involved in studies and their fun . They always talk about their interests and dreams.

Encouraging eachother was something that didn't need efforts for them . Even Jimin and Na Eon knew about the fight between Taehyung and his father.

They both consoled him with their warm words and hugged him tightly to assure him that they are there whenever he needs them.

Four of them were in the cozy café where the scent of freshly brewed coffee was smelled.

" Our finals are near guys" Jimin stated in a soft tone.

" Yes . And I am a bit nervous. Exams were always nerve-wrecking but this one is making me more stressed than expected." Na Eon's voice was laced with her worry.

Y/n understood her insecurity and said ," Because this exam is a turning point for our career as well as for our future. But Na Eon this exam is not an obstacle it is a chance. A chance for us to prove that we can do our best even if the pressure is too much. Let's give our best Na Eon-ah ! "

Taehyung who was sitting beside her pulled her in a side hug with his arm around her shoulder. She smiled at him and oh boy ! his heart skipped a beat once more.

He just couldn't get enough of her beautiful smiles. He turned towards his friends to hide his flustered state.

" Moonlight is right Kang . Let's rock this exam and prove ourselves that we are capable of earning anything we want even if the world is against us. " He cheered her up

" Yes butterfly . Exams are just a passing cloud, it will rain and dark our world but the sun will rise soon . In this rainy day we just need an umbrella to protect that umbrella is our hard work. Let's just concentrate on our studies and earn our future. And we are with you my butterfly " Jimin reassured her while giving his kind smile.

Na Eon was overwhelmed by her friends assuring and comforting words . She gave them her wide smile and nodded.

" The storm will end soon guys!" She cheered. They joined her and clinked their coffees cup .

" How about a night stay in my house?My parents are currently out of town. It will be refreshing and we can relax before starting our studies. " Na Eon suggested.

All of them gave a thought and agreed to the tempting idea . They went to their respective home and packed their stuff .

Time Skip

The night soon arrived. All were present in Na Eon's home. Seated in the sofa they were enjoying a movie.

Y/n and Taehyung were cuddling as the blanket was keeping them warm along with their embrace while Jimin and Na Eon were sitting beside each other while sharing a single blanket.

The movie genre was something Jimin didn't like. He was not a big fan of horror movies.

The room was dark as the curtains were closed as well as the lights were closed and the television's dim light was the only source of brightness .

The ghost inside the movie jumped out of nowhere and Jimin's heart also jumped along.

Na Eon noticed Jimin's sweaty form and understood his situation.

" Jimin " she called him softly.

" Ye-Yes " He stuttered as he was not fully recovered with the shock.

" Actually I am scared can I hold in my arms ?"

" Sure butterfly."

He made himself comfortable in her arms and held her tightly. His face was in between her bosoms and she held him by her arms behind his neck.

Their legs were tangled. And whenever he felt afraid he would hide his face and she would caress his hairs .

The once scary room felt peaceful as both of them were in eachother's comforting embrace. Her heartbeat calmed his nerves.

Taehyung and Y/n noticed their lovely moment and smiled ear to ear.

" Aren't they cute partner?"

" Yes but not more than us " He said and kissed her cheeks while pulling her more in his warm body leaving no place between them. She giggled and snuggled more in his strudy chest.

As the movie ended the boys noticed that their girls were now sleeping soundly. Not wanting to disturb their sleep they picked their lovers in their arms.

Jimin picked his butterfly in a bridal style.  His hands were under her knees and another was securely holding her back.And Na Eon snuggled in her sleep.

Taehyung picked his moonlight in a koala style. His arms were secured around her waist while she wrapped her arms around his neck and legs around his torso. She unconsciously put her head on his crook of neck.

They gently laid their heart thiefs on the bed and kissed them a good night. The girls soon cuddled eachother like kids .

The boys chuckled at this adorable action of this and made their way to the guest room.

They layed on the bed while staring at the ceiling.

" When are you gonna confess your feelings Jimin-ssi ?

" Soon Taehyung-ssi . Let our exams get over. Then I will confess her my heart. "

" You better do that otherwise get ready to lose her ." He said the same line.

Jimin chuckled at the memory and said " Don't worry I will make her mine very soon."

" Just remember that I am there for you in every step. "

" Even I am there for you . "

" Ouw just sleep now bastard. I just got goosebumps from your cringey lines."

" Ya ! You were the one to start. You jerk "

They soon laughed at their playful banter and wished eachother good night. The heaviness of their eyes soon drowsed them to their dreamland.

The house was now quite and the young ones were sleeping calmly without any tension. The night seemed to be peaceful.
