TAEHYUNG'S POV 

Its been a week . A week since moonlight has been ignoring me . The reason even I don't know and that jerk Suho has been getting on my nerves. Whenever I take a initiative to talk with moonlight he will interfere in between . 

Guess I hate him more than I expected . And the thing is that moonlight has also got friendly with him . Now I am scared what if Jimin's prediction comes true.

" Taehyung you need to make a move before someone else comes and snatches her from you. It's just a advice for you my friend. "

While thinking about it makes a shiver run down my back. And that jerk Suho is seriously good looking.
His height and also above average.

Oh god! Ok this weekend I will confess to her . I can't take a risk of losing her .

But what if she doesn't feel the same? What if it ruins are friendship?

But she is the only risk I am ready to take .

Believe in yourself Kim Taehyung ! You can do it!

Time Skip

The weekend arrived soon and the time of sunrise also was arriving. I made my way to the Han River.

Why the heck is my heart beating so fast ?

And from last few days I am noticing that even Jimin is avoiding me .
Now I am started thinking that I have done something wrong.

I stopped my bicycle near the parking stand . It's been a while since I rode my bicycle. After parking it I rushed towards the flower field.

Moonlight said she would be waiting there for me . And as soon as I reached there I saw the most captivating view .

My moonlight was standing in front of the river while wearing a light yellow dress which was swaying in the direction of the flowers.

She turned towards me with a bouquet of daffodils and sunflowers . The smile which she had captured my already stolen heart.

I slowly made my way towards her .

" You came " She whispered with that alluring smile of her

" I had to " I whispered back . Before I could ask any questions she answered it .

" Taehyung our journey of friendship started with you becoming my project partner . I never thought that I could feel an emotion called love but here I am feeling it with no regrets. Daffodils symbolises a start to a new beginning and sunflowers symbolises love and admiration. These flowers are  symbolising my love towards you . Can you become my partner in love too ? "

" No "

Y/N'S POV

The answer which I didn't want to hear was the answer he gave. My heart cracked with the two letter word.

Now what will happen with our friendship?
Did I ruin it ?
Did I lose him?

My overthinking came to an end when he all of sudden picked me up and started twirling me .

He delicately put me down and sat on his one knee while taking the bouquet from me and held my cold hands in his warm ones and softly said

" My moonlight. You were the best thing that happened to me . When there was no one for me you came and lend a hand out for me . You know whenever I felt lonely you would pop out unexpectedly infront of me . Your presence was enough to fill my heart with warmth.

I would like to thank the stars for giving an angel like you to me . Love ? It's a short word for me . The feeling I have for you is bigger than that. I don't want to become your partner in love only my moonlight but I want to become your partner in life. You are my moonlight in my dark life. "

My eyes watered up abit. His words made me realise why I fell for this man. He got up and hugged me like his life was dependent on me .

Our friends came and cheered us .

" Finally the long lost lovers reunited. " Na Eon said with a dramatic tone .

" I think it's now our turn to reunite butterfly. " Jimin flirted with her and her rosy cheeks indicated her feelings.

Suho and Miho also congratulated us . They were a great help for me . Both the Bang twins helped me out. We became good friends in the last week.

Taehyung's confusion told me that he never thought them to be here. So I said that will tell him later. He just nodded and pulled me in an another tight hug.

Our friends left quietly giving us our time. I could feel some wetness on my shoulder. I pulled out and saw that his brown eyes were having pearl like tears .

I wiped it and he sobbed. His voice cracked while he was talking, " I thought you started liking Suho that's why you were maintaining a distance from me. Even Jimin was avoiding me . I got so insecure moonlight. I don't need anyone's attention on me but your attention is a must. I can't..... I ca---"

His own sob cut his words. I apologized him and wiped his tears . He sniffed and hugged me tightly While he patted my back , I caressed his hairs .

He calmed down soon and we sat on the flower field infront of the Han River. While watching the sunset. I was still in his warm embrace.

" This sunrise is the best sunrise for me. " I said and turned to face him.

But saw him already staring at me . His eyes were displaying many emotions. He kissed my forehead the softness of his lips were now printed on my forehead.

" You are the best thing for me . " I felt my cheeks getting heated up at his comment.

He giggled at my state and said " You are so adorable Moonlight."

" Says the one who was crying like a baby just now." I retorted.

" That was just because I became overwhelmed. " He exclaimed.

It was my time to giggle now . But my giggles turned into a laugh when I felt his long fingers on my tickle spot .

He was tickling me and I was laughing while rolling on the ground. He hovered me and laughed along me.

He soon stopped and stared in my eyes. He kissed my forehead, nose and both the cheeks. And layed beside me . I put my head on his chest while looking the clouds above me .

" I love you my partner. " He kissed my head while wrapping his arms around me . I think kissing me has become a new habit of his not that I am complaining.

" I love you too my moonlight"
