ACT VI - IRON REIGN: Part 5 - Risky decisions

It was day after Kion with his sibling and Baliyo sneaked into the Palace looking for informations on Askari's grave location, since that moment Janna tried to break the code in a record brought by Kopa and Kion started to train with Askari's katana he found in his chamber. At the same time, Surak and Nirmala were gone to replenish the herbs.

Surak: Is this all you need?

Nirmala: Not yet, there are a few more plants I have to check.

Surak: You sure? You seem to gather more herbs than needed.

Nirmala: With the ground dead the plants don't grow like they used to which weakens the effects of the herbs, which means I must use bigger amounts so they could work.

Surak: Which means you must gather more than you need.

Nirmala: Exactly, I'm sorry that you have to waste your time. - she said hanging her head down.

Surak: Actually, I was hoping you would ask me to help. - he said capturing her attention.

At those words Nirmala looked away, to hide her blush.

Their moment was interrupted by a sound of grunts from a nearby tree.

Surak: Stay here. - he said to her grabbing his Nodachi.

He stalked towards the tree slowly, with full caution. Then, with a swift move he got behind the tree. Nirmala watched from not far, but was confused, Surak seemed to be suprised.

Surak: Nirmala, come see this!

The healer joined his side, also suprised by his discovery.

Surak: What shall we do?

Nirmala: I have an idea, but you won't like it.

MEANWHILE

Kion walked into a training area where his father trained his brother.

Simba: You're late. - he said as he continued to spar with Kopa.

Kion: Forgive me father, but I had a dream you should know about.

Simba: Another vision?

Kion: Quite opposite, it was rather... memory, but not mine.

Simba: If not yours, then whose?

Kion: Dad I... I think it was Askari's memory.

Simba: Halt, Kopa. - he said stopping the training.

Simba: What did you saw in that memory?

Kion: I was in Askari's chamber, I wrote something on the piece of paper, it might have been the code Kiara found, then someone knocked on the door, it was a lion I didn't know but his fur colour was similiar to the one of the Royal family, he said: The books have been burned as you wished. It seemed that I was talking with him, thought I coudn't hear my voice, I gave him the code and after a pause he said: I understand, it will be well hidden. Then, the dream ended.

Kopa: So that code is the key.

Simba: And the only one, let's hope that Janna decipher it fast.
