The sound of her own heart racing was all she could hear. Y/n glanced to her right seeing Scott's leg bouncing anxiously while Melissa and Mcall stood beside him. All of them waiting for the same thing.

It has been two hours since they found Stiles. They all sat in the in the hall of the hospital waiting impatiently for someone to tell them how he was.

Y/n could feel everyone's worry. It made her hands shake from the overwhelming feeling. Y/n hand clutched into Scott's jacket. He could tell that she trying to reached comfort from him so Scott didn't move her hands away from him.

Hearing a small pair of footsteps, everyone looked up to find the sheriff slowly making his way over to them. Scott glanced towards Y/n, placing a hand on her back, as he mentioned for her to stand up.

" He's sleeping now." The sheriff said. He kept his head low as he stopped in front of them. His face filled with concern.
" And he's just fine." He said turning towards the two teenagers.

Y/n let out a sigh of relief at his words.
" He doesn't remember much. It's a bit like a dream to him." He said before turning towards Rafael.
" Thank you." He told him pressing his lips together offering him a smile.

" It was that repellent we sprayed in the coyote den to keep other animals out. I couldn't go near it without my eyes watering. It's just a good thing he mentioned it over the phone." Rafael explained.

" No, it was more than that. Thank you." The sheriff said shaking his head as he thanked him once again.

" It was a lucky connection." Rafael said shaking his head at him.

" Mcall, can you shut up please and accept my sincerest gratitude." Stilinski said getting annoyed at the man.

Letting out a sigh, Rafael pressed his lips together holding out his hand.
" Accepted." He told him before Stilinski took his hand shaking it.

" All right, you two. You've got school in less than six hours. Go home. Go to sleep." Melissa said turning her attention towards the two teenagers.

" Okay." Scott told her as he gave her a hug.

" Y/n. You'll be okay? Scott said Deaton isn't home these days." Stilinski said making Y/n look up to him.

It was true. Y/n had been left alone the past few days. Scott had asked help from Deaton to try and figure out a way to help them. Y/n wasn't sure where he had gone but Deaton reassured her that he would be back soon.

Smiling at him, Y/n nodded her head.
" Yes. I'll be fine. Thank you." She said to him before Scott slowly guided her away from them.

Glancing behind them, Scott turned towards Y/n noticing the look on her face.
" Are you sure you're okay?" He asked her.

" I don't know...just feel like i could have found him." Y/n said with frustration in her voice.

" Yeah, I wasn't much help either. Doesn't matter if he's okay." Scott said to her rubbing her back.

Y/n..

Y/n's head snapped behind them as she heard the sound of the her name. It was the same raspy voice calling out for her but this time followed by the sound of crying.

Noticing Y/n suddenly stop. Scott followed her gaze seeing her stare and found nothing.
" Y/n?" He called out her name.
" Do you hear something?" He asked her.

He watched her face scrunch in frustration before she looked away meeting his eyes. He had now only noticed the dark circles around her eyes.

Y/n..
