THERE WAS A SPECIAL BOND between Daenys and her sweet sister Helaena. From the very first time Daenys held her baby sister in her arms she could tell that she was a special child.

Helaena was very fussy. She would always scream and cry. But never when she was in the arms of her sister Daenys.

Daenys was almost certain that Helaena was also growing up to be tourtured by dreams and visions of the future. Therefore she felt sorry for her. The burden was heavy. Yet it never seemed to be worth it considering the fact that nobody ever listened to her. Insteed they would call her mad behind her back.

Daenys had brought a blanket to the gardens for her and her baby sister to sit. Helaena was just a baby but she loved animals already. Especially the butterflies that would fly around and sit on the flowers. The little princess would crack a smile and even sometimes a laugh seeing the colorful wings flutter.

A red and white butterfly landed on the older princess's finger. She looked at Helaena with a big smile on her lips. "Do you see the butterfly?" She said in a baby voice as Helaena clapped her small hands. "Do you like them, sweet girl?"

When Aegon was born Viserys was happy, he loved his long awaited son. He had feasts and tournaments in his honor. Aegon's second name day was so grand that the lords of Westeros thought it meant Rhaenyra would be supplanted. But desipite all of that Rhaenyra was still the named heir to the iron throne. But Daenys knew that war would follow that decision. She had told Rhaenyra as much but Rhaenyra stood convinced that the lords of Westeros would not recognize Aegon as their King. But the Hightower's would. Their scheming was a very badly kept secret.

Daenys knew that she would always stand behind her sister and future Queen. She would do anything to defend her. Rhaenyra had even declared her wish to one day have her children marry Daenys's children. The older princess wanted their children to rule the seven kingdoms together one day.

The love Viserys held for Aegon faded by every passing day. He was not a present father in his life like before nor was he a father to Helaena. It saddened Daenys since him having his two youngest lost all its meaning this way. To have children just to have them was foolish. If he really wanted Rhaenyra to succeed him he should not have made it possible to question her claim to the iron throne.

The mystery of what the future would bring was inturuppted by a male clearing his voice. Daenys looked up and saw her uncle, dressed in his dragon rider clothes.

"Are you leaving already?" Daenys asked suddenly feeling her heartrate quickining. She did not want him to go. Everything seemed to be different now.

"No, gevie." he told her, a smile tugging in the corner of his lip. "We are going to fly on dragonback."

"Do I get a choice?"

"Well..." He said, tilting his head.

"Come Helaena, we are going to find your mother." Daenys said as she stood up with Helaena in her arms.

Daemon may not have agreed on his brother having more children. Or remarrying for that sake. Especially not to Alicent Hightower. The daugther of his acrchnemisis. Daenys had the same opinions about her father's life dessisions but she did not let go out over the children. They did not ask to be born.

Although their birth would cause the end for them all.

Daemon and Daenys walked through the halls of the Red Keep side by side, Helaena on Daenys's hip.

There was something about seeing her with a baby that made Daemon feel things. As Daenys held the little girl close to her Daemon could swear he felt his heart jump in his chest.
