We had just finished practicing for a concert we have tonight.

"Sooo Kurt..you excited for tonight's concert..?" Dave said, singy-songy into the microphone.

"No..Dave..shut up..I don't want anything to do with her.." Kurt responded with a hint of annoyance.

"Her..? who's her..?" I say, confused.

"Courtney Love..Kurt's ex girlfriend.." Dave said, looking at me.

"Ohhh Dave! Don't make fun of him for that!" I say, softly.

"Sorry sorry.." Dave threw his hands up in the air, in defense.

"Was she cool..?" I say, looking at Dave.

"No, I hated her.." Dave said.

"So did I.." Krist came in.

"Okay guys.." Kurt said, with a little bit more annoyance.

Later, at the Palace Theater, I was doing Dave's makeup because he asked me to.

I was working on his eyeliner when Krist came in.

"Hurry up guys, we need to rehearse Heart Shaped Box.." He said fast, and walked back out of the dressing room.

"Thats weird.." Dave said.

I stopped and leaned back my head and looked at him as he opened his eyes.

"Whats weird..?" I say, furrowing my eyebrows.

"You dont know..?" he said, slightly confused.

"Dont know what..?" I say, tilting my head to the side slightly.

"Heart Shaped Box was written about Courtney.." Dave said, quietly.

"Oh.." I say, softly.

"I dont know why he's playing it tonight when he knows she's gonna be here.." Dave said, clearly confused.

"Yeah..that is weird.." I said, softly

I am not doubtful of Kurt in our relationship but..we did just get together..and maybe he isnt over her..

I shook off the thought and continued with Dave's makeup.

We played the venue and it went well..

I think.

Courtney was front and center in the crowd and Kurt was singing the songs like there was nobody in the room except them.

And it's getting under my skin a little.

Rightfully so..

We started packing up our things as me, Kurt, Dave, and Krist see Courtney walking towards us.

"Oh god.." Krist says, under his breath.

I scoff under my breath.

I grab Kurt's hand and pull him into me.

"Kiss me.." I say, softly.

"What-"

I kiss him softly, leaning into him as she walks over to us.

Jealousy is a bitch.

"Hey guys..! Just wanted to say you guys did really well..!" Courtney said, as Kurt pulled away from me.

"Oh thanks!" Dave and Krist say in sync.

Faking it till they make it.

Clearly.

"And of course..Kurt..I'm so proud of you.." she said, looking at him with a smile that clearly said more than it was letting on.

My skin felt on fire and something was boiling inside me.

She came close to him and wrapped her arms around him tightly.

"Mmm.." she said softly.

"Thanks..Court.." Kurt said, hesitantly and slowly.

Court.

If you don't like her so much, why are you still using a nickname for her?

She let go and smiled and took a few steps back.

"Well me and Kurt have somewhere to be going.." I say, faking the biggest smile ever.

"I thought we were supposed to stay a little longer..-" Kurt said, confused.

I grabbed his hand and dragged him along with me as we walked out.

"Woah! Where are we going..?" Kurt said, letting me drag him a little.

"Away from her.." I say, angrily, as I keep walking through the back and through the crowds.

"No way..! You're actually jealous!" Kurt said, laughing softly, stopping me and turning me around to look at him.

"Its not funny..shes totally still into you! 'Oh Kurt..Im so proud of you..! Come here!' like oh my god..cut the bullshit.." I say, clearly upset.

"No..she-"

"I didn't come here to watch you flirt with other people..I mean..playing the song you made about her..calling her Court..letting her hug you.." I say, seriously.

"I wasn't flirting with her..it's called being nice.." Kurt said, in response.

"You should've had some curtsy for your new girlfriend.." I say, feeling disrespected.

"I'm sorry..-" Kurt said, softly.

"I..- I..don't want to talk about it..I just want to go home.." I say softly, grabbing his hand again and starting walking again.
