"Sia come out here, what are you planning so sneakily?" Rohit called his sister Siara who was in the kitchen.

"Wait a minute bro, is Sammy there yet?" Siara asked from the kitchen.

"No Sia, she's out in the balcony with Yashu and Tillu." Ritika said.

Siara came out of the kitchen hurriedly, "People have started coming already? Why didn't you tell me?" She asked.

"I did tell you but I don't know what you were so engrossed in that you did not listen to us." Rohit said laughing.

"What were you even doing?" Ritika asked. "I was making Sammy's favourite muffins for her, after all it's her birthday." Siara said, keeping the plate on the dining table.

"Sia the cook could have done that!" Ritika exclaimed while Rohit was already reaching for the muffin.

Ritika slapped his hand away, "Ro no let Sammy have it first then you." She said glaring at him making Siara chuckle.

Siara adored them as Rohit held his own ears apologising and Ritika immediately melted and pecked his pout.

"You guys are too cute." Siara said gushing over them making both of them blush.

"And you guys still blush after years." She said in aww. "You'll also find someone like this Sia don't worry!" Ritika managed to say through her blush.

"Hey she's my baby sister." Rohit said shaking his head. "And? She's old enough to fall in love. Let me remind you we met at the same age as her, in case you don't remember." Ritika said.

Before Rohit could retort Samaira came inside the dining hall running, Tilak and Yashasvi following behind.

"Sia bu see Tilak and Yashu chachu got me this remote controlled car and aeroplane." Samaira said running towards Siara.

"Aww cutu did you like it?" Siara said taking Samaira in her arms.

"Yesss..... Wow bu did you make these muffins for me?" Samaira said abruptly noticing the plate.

"Obviously! Only the best for my birthday girl." Siara said pecking her cheeks.

"You could meet us too Sia?" Tilak said teasing her.

Siara flicked her glance at the duo smiling at her. Samaira jumped from her arms and took a bite of the muffin.

Siara went and gave Tilak a hug and looked at Yashasvi with a nervous gaze for a moment and gave him a hug too.

"When did you guys even come?" She asked.

"Half an hour back I guess. Sammy dragged us out to show her drawings." Yashasvi said.

"Hmm let's go do some final touches before everyone comes." Siara said as she felt Yashasvi's gaze on her.

"He's one of your best friends why are you suddenly behaving like this you idiot! Calm down." Siara said to herself, taking a deep breath.

"What are you mumbling to yourself?" Yashasvi said, startling Siara.

"Uh nothing just um was thinking about how fast Sammy grew up." Siara said fumbling through her words.
