Yashasvi pulled her towards the table set away from the other one, where Dhruv and Tilak were standing.
"For how long are we going to have to pretend to be each other's dates Tilak?" Dhruv said grinning sheepishly looking at Siara and Yashasvi.
"Earlier all of us used to single together, ab inko dekho." Tilak said dramatically, pointing towards the duo.
Siara glared at them and shushed them at once, "Get to baking your own cakes and leave us alone!" She said.
Tilak and Dhruv got to baking the cake (read making a mess). Siara cut open the packet of flour and was putting it in the bowl.
But Yashasvi snatched it from her causing puffs of flour to get on both of them.
They coughed and when they could see each other, burst out laughing. "We look like ghosts from some low budget movie!" Yashasvi exclaimed shaking his head.
Some of his hair got on his forehead and over his eyes, Siara reached out and brushed it back.
Yashasvi's laughter died down and he looked down at Siara, whose hand was still on his cheek.
"I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't ever be scared of this adorable ghost." Siara said carrassing his cheek.
Tilak and Dhruv tried to not peek, but they couldn't help their ict genes and were watching them with a side eye.
Yashasvi blinked his eyes, "Huh?" He asked, almost in a daze.
Siara tiptoed, holding his jaw and gave a chaste kiss on his cheek.
When she was pulling back, Yashasvi put his hands around her waist and pulled her to him.
Tilak and Dhruv looked at each other, alarmed. They both nodded at each other and faked a cough before Yashasvi could do anything more.
Siara and Yashasvi pulled apart immediately, as if they had just remembered that they had company.
"We did not ask to be here you guys invited us remember?" Dhruv asked shaking his head and Yashasvi gave a stinky eye to Siara.
Siara looked at him apologetically and the made up her mind, "You guys do one thing, go and play free fire and leave us alone." She said standing in front of Tilak and Dhruv.
Tilak feigned hurt and said, "Oh wow hume apna future dikh raha hai, kyu Dhruv?"
Dhruv mimicked Tilak's expressions and put his hand on his chest dramatically, "They are gonna shove us away just like this." He said.
Siara glared at them fiercely and they sobered up immediately and scurried off inside.
She turned towards Yashasvi who was looking at her intently, she raised an eyebrow in question.
"You look very hot all angry and fired up like that." He said and Siara smacked his arm.
"Shut up!" She said suppressing a giggle. "So? Are we going to keep dancing around the topic?" She asked, after taking a deep breath.
Yashasvi looked at her, stunned by the direct question. Siara held her breath, simultaneously dreading and excited for his answer.
Siar took a step towards him and took his hands in hers, "I am scared, in fact, terrified right now because this one thing can actually ruin our friendship if it's not the same on both the sides. But I can't keep shut and not do anything about it." Siara said in one breath, almost rambling.
Yashasvi tighetened his hold on her hand, "Take a deep breath Sia, calm down." He said and Siara shook her head.
"I can't calm down Yashu!" She almost yelled and took a deep breath again.
She closed her eyes for a moment and Yashasvi furrowed his eyebrows, confused. But the eyebrows flew up when Siara went down on one knee, holding up the heart shaped baking mould.
Yashasvi couldn't help himself and a laugh escaped him, but he shut his mouth immediately when Siara started talking.
"Since our last vacation Yashu, something has changed, at least for me. You are not just the best friend anymore for me, you have become so much more. I don't know how this happened, and I know it's going to be very difficult but with you I am willing to take the risk." She closed her eyes and inhaled sharply, her eyes shining with tear, "I love you Yashu, not only like a best friend but like a woman loves a man." She said and Yashu went down on his knees too.
He held her face gently and wiped the tears that had escaped, "Sia I don't know how I managed to fall in love with one woman who was very off limits for me, but I have. I am deeply, passionately and irrevocably in love with you too Sia!" He said.
Siara nudged the heart shaped baking mould towards Yashasvi and they both burst out laughing.
Yashasvi took the mould from her hands and gave her another mould after making a show of taking it out of bis chest.
"Here now we have each other's hearts!" Siara said as she lunged at Yashasvi, hugging him tight.
Yashasvi also hugged her back just as tight as his one hand found her waist and the other one her hair.
Se carassed his hair softly, still not believing that this was actually happening.
"Yes Sia this is actually happening." Yashasvi said abruptly and grinned when Siara pulled back and gasped.
Yashasvi took the opportunity and kissed her, their lips met for the first time and both of them knew that they were absolutely gone for each other.
Yashasvi nibbled at her lip and she gasped, giving way for Yashasvi to deepen the kiss.
They heard a thud of something falling on the floor but they paid no heed to it.
"Oh my god my eyes!" Dhruv shouted as he hastened to cover Tilak's eyes while Tilak also yelped "We did not see anything!"
They took several steps back, careful to not let their hands fall off each other's eyes, and fled.
Siara and Yashasvi finally pulled back for air, gazing into each other's eyes.
"I love you so much love!" Yashasvi said tucking a loose strand behind her ear and pecking her nose slightly.
"I love you more baby!" Siara said, grinning at him.
