The chapter highlights the challenges Ira faces, the support she receives from Avi, and the added tension with Ikshit due to a viral video.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Avi accompanied Ira to the doctor's office, his heart heavy with concern. He knew that she was going through an unimaginable ordeal, and he was determined to be there for her every step of the way.

As they sat in the waiting room, Ira's hands trembled with anxiety. When the doctor finally called them in, the news was devastating. "Ira, I'm afraid you're pregnant," the doctor said, her voice laced with sympathy.

Ira's world came crashing down around her. She was only 19 years old, and she had never planned for this. Tears streamed down her face as she processed the information.

Avi reached out and took her hand, his eyes filled with compassion. "It's going to be okay, Ira. We'll get through this together."

But as they left the doctor's office, their troubles were only just beginning.

Ikshit, Ira's cousin and Avi's closest friend, had been on campus when the viral video of Ira surfaced. His face contorted with rage as he watched the footage, and he immediately sought out Ira and Avi.

"Ira, what the hell is this?" Ikshit shouted, his voice dripping with accusation. "How could you do this?"

Ira shrunk back, her eyes filled with shame. "Ikshit, it's not what you think. I didn't-"

"Don't give me that crap!" Ikshit interrupted, his fists clenched at his sides. "You're a disgrace, Ira. You've ruined everything."

Avi stepped forward, his expression pleading. "Ikshit, please, let's talk about this. Ira needs our support right now."

But Ikshit was having none of it. "Support? She doesn't deserve our support. She brought this on herself, and now she has to live with the consequences."

Ira felt her heart shatter as Ikshit's words cut through her. She had never felt so alone and misunderstood.

Avi knew that he had to do something to stop Ikshit's tirade, but he was at a loss for words. He couldn't bear to see Ira suffer like this, and he was determined to make Ikshit understand the gravity of the situation.

"Ikshit, please, listen to me," Avi said, his voice calm and measured. "Ira didn't know what was happening. She was drunk and vulnerable, and Sid and his friend took advantage of her. It's not her fault."

Ikshit's expression softened slightly, but his anger still simmered just below the surface. "I don't care what happened, Avi. Ira's a grown woman, and she needs to take responsibility for her actions."

Avi's heart sank as he realized that Ikshit was beyond reason. He knew that he had to do something to stop the situation from escalating further.

"Ikshit, please, let's talk about this later," Avi said, his voice firm but gentle. "Ira needs our support right now, and we can't let our personal feelings get in the way."

Ikshit's eyes flashed with anger, but he finally nodded. "Fine, Avi. But this isn't over. Ira's going to pay for what she did."

As Ikshit stormed off, Avi turned to Ira, his expression filled with concern. "Ira, I'm so sorry. I know this is a lot to handle, but I'm here for you. We'll get through this together."

Ira's eyes welled up with tears as she looked at Avi. "Thank you, Avi. Just knowing that you're here for me makes me feel a little better."

Avi's heart swelled with compassion as he wrapped his arms around Ira. "We'll get through this, Ira. We'll face this together, and we'll come out stronger on the other side."

As they hugged, Ira felt a sense of hope wash over her. She knew that she wasn't alone, and she knew that Avi would be there for her every step of the way.
