No one ever said anything about it. Why would they? They did not know.

Ever since you were little kid you always were put second after your sibling. Was it fair? Now you know it was not. In fact you always knew it it not fair.

You do not expect people to understand you because you do not ever understand yourself as well. You have never learned how to understand yourself because your parents were too focused on your sibling.

Your sibling was sick. They needed extra attention. But what about you?

Were you even important?

You thought you always were weaker - emotionally and phisically.  You just could not show that you were.

It always could have been worse for you. Maybe you should have been grateful for that instead of keep complaining.

No.

You needed help just as your sibling did. You were never worse.

After all those years you still can not understand that. You were raised that way. You just had to be strong for your parents and for yourself. Why would you bring more worries to them when they already had a lot on their plate because of your sibling?

You know the answer.

You did not want to be burden. It was for the better.

How old are you now?

Do you still think that way? Why can't you just let it out of yourself?

Everytime they give you the attention you deserve you can not handle it well because you're not used to being important one.

You should have been seen.

You are important. You always were. You were just too young and stupid to realise that.
