"Hey Daddy! Good morning! Kanina ka pa?" Kassidy turned off the music from her phone when she spotted her Dad entering the dining room.

"Good morning Buttercup! Nope, hindi ako nag bike today. I decided to take a rest muna, it's your wedding this weekend!" Masiglang sabi pa nito sa kanya as he joined her on the table.

"Uhuh." She answered smiling, but deep inside she's really nervous. She haven't seen Wesley since she arrived at tatlong araw na lang, ikakasal na sila.

She tried visiting sa farm but her Tita Kia told her that Wesley is staying at the university kapag ganitong patapos na ang klase.

She thought, she'll give him space. It's been two months, nasa iisang lugar lang sila and he haven't even thought of visiting her.

"Kian was here last night but you were already asleep when he came." Her Dad casually said.

"Ahm— Did he— never mind." She just said. She was actually planning to ask her Dad if he looked for her. "How was he?" She added.

"Why don't you visit her sa university? It's just a few minute drive from here. I can ask my driver to drive you over there. You know that fiancè of yours tends to be workaholic. Bring him lunch. Invite him for a picnic." Her father suggested and thought, why not?

"Sige Dad. I'll visit him later. Are you sure you're okay here mag lunch alone?" She asked her old man.

He's true to his words that he will make bawi to her. Most days, he will just bring most of his work at home.

"I won't be alone, your cousin was already back from his vacation in Iloilo." He stated and she beamed upon hearing that.

"Was he? San siya?" She asked. She's always been close with Neil but with him being in Iloilo when she's still in the Philippines made their bond limited.

"Nasa kabilang farm. Nanliligaw sa bestfriend mo." Her Dad commented and she chuckled.

She knows that Kiara have a crush on Neil since she met him years ago but like how Wesley see her like a younger sister, Neil also sees Kiara as one.

Buti pa si Kiara, crush na siya ng crush niya. She thought to herself and heard her Dad asking the maid to cook lunch that she'll bring over to Wesley.

"I'll make him banana muffins!" She blurted out if the blue and her Dad looked at her with a surprised look on his face.

"Daddy, I know how to bake na!" She said with a proud smile on her face.

"Hmmnn.. You should let me try your baked goods one time, Buttercup." Her dad said in anticipation. She misses that happy mood of her Dad.

"Of course Daddy, now that I am here, wala kang ibang gagawin after your retirement kundi kumain ng mga gawa ko." She proudly said and her Dad's face looks even more happier.

"You are going to make your old man fat, young lady!" He said but he was still smiling.

Kassidy smiled to herself, there's nothing in this world that she would want than to make the only living parent she has.

"Kuya Neil, are you just going to wait for me here? Or susunduin mo na lang ako later?" She asked her cousin who volunteered to bring her to the university.

Her cousin, despite helping her father manage the farm/garden didn't want to live in the mansion. He bought a condo unit near their house instead.

"Magpa hatid ka na lang sa fiancè mo." He said, his voice teasing.
