(im so sorry this took so long and im sorry if i write about epilepsy incorrectly as i do not have it)

you and felix had been best friends since pre-school. it had always been a little harder for you to make friends, but felix had always been there for you, and you the same for him.

"hahaha!"

you were trying your hardest not to cry. there were two bullies making fun of you.

"leave them alone!" a foreign voice said.

"why?"

"or i'll tell mrs. johnson! she doesn't like bullies!" felix ran over in front of you, acting like a shield.

"fine, stay with that weirdo," they huffed, walking off.

"t-thank you... what's your name?"

"my name is felix. i'll be your hero for as long as you need me."

"my name is y/n," you smiled.

even throughout college you both were close - perhaps even closer than ever.

you helped encourage felix to pursure his dreams of becoming an idol, and you were there for him when he was eliminated, as well as when he debuted. and he did the same for you, supporting you all through college.

the boys were surprised you both were still not together, most of them suspecting that you two were just hiding it.

really, you did like felix - how could you not? but you didn't want to be a burden to him. he's so busy as an idol and you respect that.

even if it hurt, you wanted felix to excel. so you put your feelings to the side.

besides, he probably didn't reciprocate your feelings anyway.

today, you decided to go out to dinner with some friends. you deserved a break for working so hard and getting the promotion you wanted so badly.

you'd invited felix too, but he said he had plans.

that was okay with you, it's not like you two could always be together.

you walked into the restaurant, and evidently the first thing you saw was felix with a girl.

you weren't all that surprised felix was there, because this was a new restaurant in town.

but you were a little surprised he was with someone else.

he has a girlfriend?

of course he had a girlfriend.

but, assuming was wrong. what if that was his sister?

no, you'd met his sisters of course.

"y/n? earth to y/n? we're being seated," your friend jeongyeon called out.

"oh sorry," you said, hurriedly trying to keep up with the rest of the group.

and you unfortunately were seated in a large booth with a perfect view of felix and his date.

you were jealous but you had no right to be. felix wasn't yours, and as much as you liked him, you just wanted him to be happy.
