Wanderer stared at Nahida, shocked. How in the world will I even convince the Akademiya that I'm good enough through writing? I've only written letters a handful of times! How will that ever be good enough for the Akademiya?

"Nahida, I'm not a writer in any sense. I've spent my entire life fighting for someone or something. My time in Sumeru has been the most peaceful time of my life, but I'm still not used to this life. How will I do something I've never done before?"

Nahida looked at Wanderer thoughtfully, then seemed to get an idea. "Why don't you take a writing class to improve? Maybe this will allow you to figure out what you want,"

Wanderer looked at her, confused for a moment. "I'm a complete beginner- how will any Akademiya class accept me?" However, as soon as his words left his mouth, he knew Nahida had a plan.

"That's the thing, Wanderer. Since you're under a internship with Kaveh, the Akademiya will allow you to do other classes as long as you're doing it under Kaveh's internship. So, you'll have to convince him to let you do this,"

To Nahida's surprise, Wanderer smiled. "Thanks, Nahida. I really appreciate it," As soon as he finished, he left to Kaveh's house.

To Wanderer's surprise, Kaveh was sitting outside late at night. Wanderer quickly caught his gaze, and waved. "Kaveh! I need to talk to you, it's really important, I-"

Kaveh cut him off quickly. "Wanderer, what are you freaking out about? It's 9:30 pm, calm down!"

Wanderer paused for a moment as to appearing to catch his breath, then resumed. "Kaveh, I'm sorry to disturb you this late at night, but I have an important matter to discuss. My future as a researcher depends on you!"

Kaveh looked confused. "I thought you were passionate in architecture, Wanderer. Have you changed your mind? Or have you ever been passionate in architecture?"

Wanderer's breath caught in his throat. Crap. I don't want to tell him the truth, but I don't want to lie anymore. "Kaveh, I've enjoyed my time working with you, and you helped me realize my purpose. I only took this internship in the start to spite someone, but I've learned so much. You helped me find a reason to live on.

Wanderer watched as Kaveh's expression soften as Wanderer continued. "Well, I'm not amused that you essentially used me, but I'm glad I was able to help you, Wanderer. I'll let you into the writing class," He smiled. "But please don't forget about me. Come and visit me every once in a while, alright?"

Wanderer smiled, and left happier than before.
