The Plan After the Trial

Wanderer and Nahida left shortly after the authorities came to take the criminal away. As they were walking out, Nahida stopped before the exit of the theatre.

"Nahida, why have we stopped? Our hotel is still a long ways away,"

Nahida responded with a simple smile. "For someone who wants to leave Fontaine immediately, I'm surprised you didn't know about the trial being pushed to today! We've got to get going to get there on time!"

"Does everyone in Fontaine move twice as fast as Inazuma and Sumeru?!" Wanderer said with confusion as Nahida dragged him in the Opera Epiclese before he could object.

They quickly arrived at the building, and sat down at the nearest seats to the Traveler. While it was impossible for them to notice Nahida and Wanderer, they had to be careful. Nahida placed a small sun hat on her head, and passed a top hat to Wanderer. "This hat looks terrible, Nahida,"

"Do you want everyone to figure out who we are?" Nahida retorted. Wanderer went silent as trial began. Wanderer sat there in the cushy theatre seats and looked up at the Traveler. Sure enough, she was there, sitting alongside two magicians, Lyney and Lynette. It's been a while since I've talked to her. Wanderer pondered. I wonder if she's forgotten me too, or only sees me as a vague memory of Sumeru. His train of though was interrupted when Furina, the Hydro Archon began the trial. It went on for hours, and finally the scales tipped in the favor of the Traveler when the recounted the events related to Liliane. While the trial was over, the Traveler and the magicians still had one more trial to "Well, Nahida. I guess that was over quicker than we expected."

"Well, Wanderer, I guess you were right on that one. At least we'll be able to go home early-"

Nahida's sentence was unable to finish as a man evaporated into water, leaving screams of panic and terror in the wake. Nahida stared at Wanderer intensely. "I assume we're going to have to help with that issue now,"

"I still have no idea why the Traveler gets involve with the business of Archons," Wanderer said as he ran off after Nahida, on their way to solve a new problem.
