New York

Lilys pov

It was a couple days later now and Florence was around ours today so that we can look for the place we are going to live in whilst we are in New York and we made a plan of not telling my mom because i know she would try and pay and i didnt want her to because i have my own money and i dont do much with it anyways

We were sitting at the dining room table with the laptop infront of us and we were looking for a place whilst mom and dad were out food shopping, we were too caught up with looking at the places that we didnt even hear the door opening back up and that they were both behind us until moms voice called out

"What you two looking at?" i heard behind me and i cant lie i jumped massively because it was so unexpected and i looked at the laptop screen with wide eyes whilst going back and forth to Florence thinking of what we could say, i was lucky that Florence was even going to let me pay for half of where we were going to stay but i finally convinced her even if it took a long 23 days

"Um we-" i tried but i couldn't think of any excuse right now and i looked for Florence for some help but she just told her what we were doing and didnt try to hide it, my mom stared at me confused "Oh i thought you guys were going to use the place i have in New York as you are most likely going to be there for a long few months" she admitted and i actually completely forgot that mom even had a place in New York and thats why we were looking for places, Florence looked at me and yelled "Your mom had a place there the whole time and we have been sat here for an hour for what" and mom laughed with dad as they moved around us placing the shopping bags on the kitchen counter

"Yeah we have a place up there its got 5 bedrooms thats why i thought you were staying there" mom told us as she started to unpack some of the stuff away, i looked at Florence and she gave me one of her evil stares telling me to say yes and i knew mom would end up convincing me anyways so i might as well agree now

"Yeah sure but if you dont want to have us in your other house mom we can go somewhere else" i tell her and she shakes her head smiling at me before telling me "No its fine Lils dont worry that house i hardly go to anymore anyways so at least it is useful for you guys for filming and it will be easier to get to you when we come and visit" she explains with a huge grin on her face, i just nod shutting down the laptop because it was clear we didnt need it anymore

Florence left after lunch and she said she and I have to go out shopping before we leave in 2 weeks and i agreed because i need to get a few things for New York, i was going out with Leo today and he was taking me somewhere as a surprise and normally he tells my mom what his surprises are but he got his driving licence so he didnt need mom to drop me off anywhere anymore

The other day was our celebration for our anniversary and i know we did it a couple days late because of the whole court business but we had an amazing time, he ended up taking me to the beach and we had a dinner there which was so nice and he decorated the whole thing, nothing could have made me love him anymore in that moment but what we did afterwards i didnt tell my mom because i didnt know what she would say and to be honest i didnt know how to word it like am i meant to go up to her and say "Yes mom we had sex" no i would never do that because it is such an awkward thing to say, i remember so clearly when Mom and Lizzie gave me the birds and the bees talk when i was 13 after they had found the hickey Leo had left on my neck and it was bad but i am 16 now and she has to know that it would eventually happen between the two of us, i know mom told me that i could talk to her about anything but i didnt know about this one

Later in the evening mom was laying in bed with me as we watched a movie and i didnt like keeping things from my mom but i didnt know how to approach the situation, as the movie ended i turned around laying down facing mom who smiled back at me
