𝙑𝙄𝙑𝙄𝘼𝙉 𝙎𝙏𝙊𝙊𝘿 𝙄𝙉 𝙁𝙍𝙊𝙉𝙏 of her bedroom mirror, adjusting the wine-red silk satin dress Conner had picked out for her. The fabric shimmered under the soft light, hugging her curves in all the right places. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart. Tonight was a big deal, and the thought of meeting Conner's family—and possibly impressing them—had her on edge.

"Okay, Vivian, you've got this," she whispered to herself, smoothing down the front of her dress.

The sound of the doorbell broke her reverie. She smoothed down her dress one last time before heading downstairs. When she opened the door, her breath caught in her throat. Her fake boyfriend stood there in a matching wine red button-down shirt, looking both nervous and incredibly handsome.

"Wow, Viv, you look... amazing," he said, his voice slightly flustered.

She blushed. "Thanks, McKnight. You look great too."

He offered her his arm, and she took it, as he led her to his car. Before entering the car, Conner reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box. Inside was a delicate silver necklace with a heart-shaped pendant.

"I thought this would go well with your dress," he said, his voice soft. "And, you know, heart for Hartley."

Vivian's breath caught as Conner stepped behind her to fasten the necklace. His fingers brushed against her neck, sending a shiver down her spine. "It's beautiful," she whispered. "Thank you."

He smiled, opening his car door. "Ready for this?"

The blonde girl took a deep breath and entered the car. "As ready as I'll ever be."

As they drove, Vivian's nerves began to creep back in. She bounced her feet anxiously, staring out the window. Conner noticed and placed a reassuring hand on her thigh.

"Hey, it's going to be fine," he said softly. "Just breathe."

Vivian nodded, taking a deep breath and trying to relax. By the time they arrived at Conner's house, she felt a little more at ease.

Standing outside the grand entrance of the house, the fake couple took a moment to go over their backstory. Before they went inside, they took a moment to go over their backstory.

"Remember, we met at my soccer practice," Conner reminded her. "You were looking for your brother, and I helped you find him. We've been dating for about three months now."
