Ancient Ibarian (Eye-bar-ee-an) - old language in Ibar, basis of Aiba, not spoken by anyone but scholars

As serious as a brain crack - an Ortai idiom meaning "as serious as a heart attack"

A stone could see - equivalent to "a blind man could see"

Baliko (Ball-ee-co) - a shifter name meaning "beautiful"

Bontair (Bahn-t-air) - the language of magic

Depths below - idiom equivalent to "heavens above"

Do you have the memory of a pebble? - idiom equivalent to "forgetting something, bonehead?"

Drykfrap (Dry-k-frah-p) - equivalent to "bull crap"

E

Ekaba (Eh-kah-bah) - second most common language in Grassland, developed by scalewings

Felk (Feh-lk) - equivalent to "crap" (very vulgar)

Flamed - equivalent to "pissed off"

Frap (Frah-p) - equivalent to "crap" (minor vulgarity)

Fresh - nix idiom equivalent to "new" or "random"

Grassblade (Grass-blade) - equivalent to "manhood" (the body part)

Hatchling (Hatch-ling) - scalewing term equivalent to "infant" if literal or "novice" if figurative

Hoofhead (hoof-head) - equivalent to "blockhead"

I

Ikaru (Eek-ah-roo) - a shifter name meaning "studious"

K

Kelsior (Kell-see-or) - ancient Ortai language only known to a handful of specialized scholars

Kost (Coast) - a shifter name meaning "free"

M

Mar (Mahr) - a shifter name meaning "thinker"

Mistai (Miss-t-eye) - formal address for female Ortai the speaker is familiar with

Mistrai (Miss-tr-eye) - formal address for male Ortai the speaker is familiar with

P

Peltair (Pell-t-air) - the most commonly spoken Ortai language, can be used to write Bontair phonetically

Pelvat (Pell-vat) - a shifter name meaning "dancer"

Prip (P-rip) - equivalent to "crap" (non-vulgar)

Richling (Rich-ling) - equivalent to "nepo baby"

Rockhead (Rock-head) - equivalent to "idiot"
