Yoongi or better known by Armys as Suga has always been a rapper who pulled his weight. Much like his homie J-Hope and Rap Monster, he grew up listening to American Hip Hop. He grew up listening to rappers Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Method Man, E-40, Twista and rappers like them. While Namjoon was more of a traditional lyricist, Suga was more a flow kind of rapper, like Takeoff from the Migos. Suga brings the chaotic energy to BTS with every comeback.
It's a strange irony because in reality he's a reserved individual with less words than his peers, yet he transforms into a monster when he starts rapping. Augst D is his alter ego, the crazy maniacal side he rarely lets loose. It's unfiltered from the pop bullshit media tries to box him in. Suga will always be an MC at heart, much like his idols G Dragon, and especially Harry Park who's fast rapping use to captivate him. Why his label is not letting him let loose is beyond him.
