The young witch was not always like this, no, her heart didn't stop pumping blood through her veins up until the end of her fourth year. Her family had always been cruel, they were pureblood supremacy fanatics after all but Selene never truly realized how ingrained their prejudice was in their heads, especially her father, until the dark lord had returned. Before her family forced her into a life of servitude to a dark wizard, Selene Dumont was empathetic, she was an angel.
Now, she was rotten, inside and out. She was like an apple gone bad, spoiled and ready to be disposed of and the only person left in the world that would try to salvage her was Draco Malfoy. Her dear cousin, Draco Malfoy was the only person Selene could confide in. At least, he used to be the only person she could spill all her secrets to.
Over the summer before her fifth year began, she was presented with a task to which she had no choice but to agree. Her family was not on the dark lord's good side and so she was their last hope at making amends with him.
THETASK was simple. Well, it seemed simple when it came out of a man's mouth with a snake-like face. Selene had expected Lord Voldemort to force her to commit an act of murder or something cruel but no. All Selene Dumont had to do was get Harry Potter close to her. Close enough to where he would tell her his secrets and anything else that could be of use to Voldemort. Get cozy with the golden boy of Hogwarts, it seemed so easy in the beginning. Like it was nothing more than child's play. What Selene didn't realize was that she would end up in a spider web of all things bad. But the worst part about it all was that her downfall would be at the hands of the boy she was meant to betray. Selene Dumont was going to find her once lifeless heart beating for Hogwarts golden boy but the catch is,
