There was whooping and cheering all around me as the boys hands flew to my waist, pulling me closer. I could feel the smile on his lips as our mouths moved in sync. He tasted awful, but I was sticking with my plan.
We broke away, and the boy looked down at me beaming. People clapped and wolf whisled all around me. The girls looked surprised, some of the boys looked dissapointed, but mainly everyone was shocked and surprised.
Draco, however, was fuming. His hands were clenched so hard at his sides I wondored if his nails would draw blood. It took me a moment to realize I was staring at his hands. He practically radiated rage.
But I couldn't give him anymore of my attention, as Hagrid was explaing the creature he had just brought out, was a Hippogryph.
"So, who'd like to go first?" He asked.
Harry and I had been staring at the creature and didn't notice when the rest of the class took a step back.
"Harry! Skylar! Wonderful!" He said. "Now step up to him Harry, don't be shy,"
My brother slowly stepped up, and bowed. When the feathered creature bowed back Hagrid clapped his hands and exclaimed. "Well done! I think you Sky is ready to ride it,"
Before I knew what was happening Hagrid was picking me up and setting me on Buckbeak.
"No, no, no, no, no, no, I can't ride a Hippogryph!" I exclaimed, terrified as gasps went up from all of my double housemates.
"Hagrid thats my sister!" Harry yelled, but Buckbeak had already launched into the air.
I'm gonna die! I internally screamed as I felt myself slipping and held onto Buckbeak's neck for dear life.
Slowly, however, I started to get used to the feeling. This is just like flying on a broom. I sat up. I was actually enjoying this.
I reached over and ran my hand across the surface of the water of the lake we were flying just above.
I spread my arms wide and felt the wind on my face. "Wooooohooooo!"
Buckbeak brought us back, and I dismounted with a huge smile.
Suddenly Draco shoved his way through the crowd and stode up to the creature. "Yeah, your not dangerous at all are you? You great ugly brute."
"Malfoy No!" Hagrid yelled.
Sudents scremed in terror and Draco looked up surprised as the hippogryph stood up on its hind legs and slashed Draco on the arm.
Hagrid threw a dead ferret and Buckbeak ran after it. "Oi, ya silly creature."
"Its killed me, its killed me!" he whined, rolling around on the ground.
"Its alright, its just a scratch!" Hagrid said, trying to ease the situation.
"Hagrid!" I yelled. "He has to be taken to the hospital!"
"Right, I'm the teacher I'll do it," Hagrid picked up Draco and started walking off.
"You'll pay for this," Draco called back as he got carried off. "You and your bloody chicken,"
Harry, Hermione, Ron and I walked to our next class, all beaming.
Draco's POV
My rage for Skylar that she had kissed someone else quickly turned to terror as I saw that fool of a teacher pick her up and set her on the monster. Then anger as I realized she was fine when I had felt terror for the girl I wasn't supposed to be feeling anything for. Then terror for myself that the stupid beast was going to slash my arm off. Then a stinging pain as I was carried to the hospital wing. Then again rage, but this time for the boy who had kissed Skylar.
He pulled her in. I though as I ran over the disgusting memory for the tenth time. She initiated it, but he pulled her in. He wanted to kiss her. Of course he did, they all do.
I'm going to kill him, I though at madam pomfrey put my arm in a sling.
Storming out I grabbed a random Slytherin my the shirt and snarled in her face, "Where is he?"
"W-who?" she asked taken aback.
"Damion Prince?"
"Common room I think, I don't know, let go of me!"
I dropped her and practically ran to the common room. The door didn't even have time to fully open before I was inside.
Luckily there was no one there, except that little bitch Damion sitting in an armchair.
I rounded the corner and gave a swift punch to the face.
"Dude, what the fuck!" he screamed jumping out of the chair and holding his bleeding nose.
Discarding the sling I delivered a kick to the balls, a kick to the stomach, and another uppercut to the face.
Damion tried to fight back, but I was taller and had years of boxing and self defense classes under my belt. He didn't stand a chance.
"Don't ever, even think about looking at Skylar Potter again, do you understand me?" I had crouched down to speak directly in the Hazel eyed boys face as he was now so wounded he was on the ground.
He nodded, shaking. "Oh," I added. "And just so we're clear, you tell anyone about this you'll get a lot more than a beat down."
Picking my sling off the ground I stormed off toward the dorm that Skylar and I shared. There were still two more classes of the day that I would be missing because of my little incident, and half of the Slytherins had a free period, but not Skylar, which means she wouldn't be back yet.
If she came back at all. She had been sleeping in Gryffindor lately, and I can't really blame her. But damn if I don't miss her face, her smile, her eyes, her soft breaths that could be heard while she slept if you listened close enough.
I walked to my bed and tried to get some sleep before the party Slytherin was throwing tonight. But my thoughts wouldn't leave her.
