Ena stepped inside, the first thing to enter being her expensive laced up shoes topped up with little white bows. She picked them specially for today; hoping it would fit the role for such a style-oriented job.
She had her dark chocolate hair slicked back into a flowing ponytail, curled from styling it that morning—- yet sleep still rested beneath her eyes. She hoped the mascara and the blush she applied was enough to hide that annoying detail.
Picturing herself put together and ready, she carried her large vintage pilot bag as she shut the glass door behind her, a small 'ding' of a bell accompanying her entrance. Upon walking inside, she felt a wave of warmth, which extended to her stockings becoming more of a bother than anything.
Ena hadn't visited this boutique many times.. she saw they needed more staff and since she enjoyed fashion and whatnot, she thought, 'why not?'. She'd spent way too long sitting in her room trying to conjure up enough skill to actually do anything with her supposed 'passion' of art to not go out and find an actual job. Plus, that path was long gone and too blurry for her to envision anymore.
The brunette clutched her bag against her skirt. After a couple of seconds of waiting, her impatience rose as thought of picking her nails.
She stood quietly in an empty boutique, the stillness of the mannequins and the racks of clothing almost unsettling. They sat in their places as slow jazz flowed in the background— like the store had turned into a museum. A space where only the items could speak.
She tensed up as she heard the clacking of shoes coming from the back, "Hello~~? Are you my newest employee perhaps?" A joyful sounding voice almost cooed. Ena cleared her throat and spoke using her nicest tone, "Y-yes!"
A tall, almost slender figure came walking up to her. definitely taller than her, a large smile was sewn upon her features. She noticed a certain glint in her eye that made her come across as friendly— Ena blinked and almost stammered. "My name is Ena.., uh., Shinonome" she bowed.
"Ahaha, no need to be so formal! I'm Mizuki Akiyama, the one who hired you~~" She cocked her head to the side as she waved her hand through the air. Ena felt a small smile come across her lips at their carefree attitude.
Ena only nodded once before freezing up again. She didn't know what else to say.. she didn't know what she wanted to express. That she was thankful for this job? That she liked their outfit? Should she ask what she should do first? Her stupid bag seemed heavier all of a sudden.
"I'll show you wear to put your bag down first!" Ena nearly let out a sigh of relief.
