10am; All the staff had finally showed up. Ena was introduced to each.
She'd met An, Shizuku and Saki. Shizuku and Saki came in at the same time, incessant giggles and laughter filling up the store as soon as they'd walked in.
Shizuku, Ena could tell, was the oldest of the bunch— and also looked to be a supermodel. She soon found out, that's because she used to be.
And Saki just seemed to be the goldilocks of the group, neat yet chaotic twin tails placed upon her head. They were all so bubbly, so social. It seemed as if Mizuki knew everyone who walked through the door, just by hearing their shoes against the floor.
Every individual was unique and different, making the brunette look the blandest of them all. Compared to herself, Ena had looked in the mirror that morning and picked apart every little thing about her face and hair— she observed and critiqued every minute detail. As they say, old habits die hard.
But now, her mouth was shut tight. She had nothing to say to these wonderfully interesting individuals.
Especially Mizuki. Mizuki, the one who talked to her the most. The one who'd shown her around, the one who gives her the instructions. The one who even complimented her hair. "How did you style it?" Ena could barely come out with a comprehensive answer.
There wasn't much activity going around, especially with so few staff members. It was surprising, Ena surely thought there'd be at least one person who'd shown up by now.. but the doors remained closed and the clothes themselves remained spotless.
Until she heard the ringing of a phone. Out of interest, she glanced over to the counter where Saki had just ran to. "Sorry!! Yes, hello? This is Saki Tenma from Little Bow Boutique?" Her cheery energy echoed across the space.
"You're coming now? Alright, amazing!! Can't wait to see you here!" She put the phone down and went to find Shizuku. Ena swore she saw a wagging tail as she zoomed off.
