Knotted Bows | Mizuena fic

"There's not much to do today, right?" Ena heard a woman with tied up black and faded blue hair spoke as  Ena was finishing arranging some shoes. She looked over, observing the girl who'd just entered.

She was quite the colourful figure as well— little star earrings dangling from her ears, her clothes cool and hip-looking. And yet, her hair was tied up with a little pink bow, one similar to the one Mizuki was wearing. 

Ena stopped what she doing to watch as Mizuki put a hand on her hip. "Now just because it's raining today doesn't mean you get to slack off, Shiraishi! You should know this by now" A rather joking grin creeped up her cheeks. She looked at her with a sarcastic yet admiring eye.

She went back to focussing on the task she was assigned, deciding she'd be left as the unnoticed 'new girl' who should just stay in her lane. "Oh, by the way, we have a new staff member!" From being crouched on the floor, Ena tilted her head up, holding a face similar to an abounded kitten's. 

Mizuki's friend came up to the brunette and smiled brightly, "Welcome, newbie! I'm An Shiraishi, great to meet cha'! 'Guess we'll be working together from now on, hey?" Ena seemed star-struck before nodding viciously. 

Her concentration suddenly seemed at a loss as her eyes kept following the two. An's attention went back to Mizuki as she crossed her arms and leaned on one of the racks. "Did you show her around yet, boss?" 

Mizuki looked back with a deadpanned yet amused face, "Yes I did, now get ready before we officially open"

Ena felt a bit weird observing so much. She didn't mean to peek into their little bubble. But their voices were so vibrant, their interactions so meaningful, yet held so little information. It was as their was a whole story to uncover within just their eyes..
