Knotted Bows | Mizuena fic

"Wow! Shinonome-san, did you draw that just now?" Saki peeked behind the brunette suddenly,  Ena almost collapsing over her chair. Her sketchbook and pen fumbled in her lap, almost losing them to the floor. 

Shizuku also loomed over the poor girl. "Wahh Shinonome-chan! You are such a talented artist" Ena looked over her shoulder, trying her best to present an appreciative grin. The two were a bit closer than she was wanting, but the attention was nice nevertheless. 

Though, the word talented. It hadn't been heard for a long time— especially towards her. But of course, that didn't mean anything. The word had lost its meaning and she was not to be fooled by any free candy. 

Ena pushed the sour thoughts away, "Yeah, I did..! I'm glad you like them— it's been a while since I've drawn anything hehe.." She said rather quietly. Saki popped up right next to Ena, inspecting the page further with sparkling eyes.

She got so excited by everything, didn't she? Even as an adult in her twenties, it was somewhat refreshing seeing someone who was able to be so.. curious by life. Shizuku continued to stand behind them, watching over with a delicate smile. 

The brunette looked over at Mizuki and An again for a second, before—- Did they just look back?

"Woah!! Are these some of the dresses from the store?? I could recognise them from anywhere! And those models look quite familiar.." Ena felt embarrassment pool her cheeks all of sudden. A plunge of humiliation. Oh god—

"Hmm yes, you're right. Isn't that—" As if the heavens were listening to Ena's desperate pleas, An walked over to the three who seemed to be way too intruding by a sketchbook.

"Guys, you know what time it is? It's time to keep moving! We have customers at the front waiting" She was there to order cooly, a hand on her hip as usual. She really had a tone for leadership, didn't she? 

But nothing could've made her focus on An when Mizuki was right behind her, leaning on the wall with a grin.
