The air hung heavy with regret as Taehyun stepped out of the apartment complex. He'd locked Soobin out weeks ago, needing space, needing time to sort out his own tangled emotions. Throughout those weeks Soobin has been staying with his friend Yeonjun. He'd (Taehyun) been a fool . He'd pushed Soobin away, and now, the thought of Soobin getting over him and maybe even start dating Jihye felt like a physical blow. He quickly put on his shoes and leaves the apartment complex.

As he leaves he looks straight forward and notices Yeonjun, "Taehyun, hurry up!" Yeonjun's voice cut through his thoughts. He was leaning against a sleek black motorcycle, a familiar impatience in his eyes. "Soobin's about to leave."

Taehyun's heart lurched. He's confused, Soobin never mentioned to him about leaving. He started to realize when Soobin stopped from leaving was that what he tried to mention that night? He'd been avoiding Soobin, but the thought of him leaving, of not knowing when he'd see him again, was unbearable.

When they arrived he sprinted towards the train station, his lungs burning, his mind racing. He had to see Soobin, had to tell him... He didn't know what, exactly, but he had to say something.

He burst through the station doors, his eyes scanning the crowd. There, by the platform, stood Soobin, his back to Taehyun, his luggage beside him. Taehyun's throat tightened. He had to get to him, had to tell him...

" Choi Soobin!"

Soobin turned, his eyes widening in surprise as he sees Taehyun running towards him. Taehyun's heart was hammered in his chest. He had to say something, anything. He had to confess.

"Soobin," he choked out, his voice raw with emotion tears forming in his eyes. He's completely out of breath and can't don't know how to explain it to him.

Soobin's eyes held a cold look, his eyes were dimmed. He looked away, his shoulders slumping. "Taehyun, I... I thought you didn't want to see me anymore."

"I'm sorry," Taehyun blurted out, his voice cracking.

"For what?" Soobin asked.

"I'm sorry for never noticing how you really felt. I don't know why I still has feelings for Beomgyu when you asked me to be yours. I'm sorry.

The words tumbled out, a torrent of emotion. He watched as Soobin's eyes widened, his lips parting in surprise. Then, a slow smile spread across his face.

"But when I heard you were leaving today, and I'm actually really sad. You were always there for me and made me happy whenever I wasn't, I'm thankful for that Soobin. That wasn't really how I felt, but I never said I didn't love you. Saying I still had feelings for Beomgyu was a lie. I'm sorry." Taehyun blurts out while breaking down.

"Taehyun," Soobin said under his breath while giggling, "what's there to really be sorry about? You could've just said you love me back."

"How could I say something like that especially in a place like this? That's too embarrassing!"

"You made me really happy. Every moment I got to spend with you. I love you, Kang Taehyun." Soobin said.

"Me too..." Taehyun replied in a whisper.

"What was that? What are you trying to say? I can't hear you." Soobin said in a teasing manor as the train started pulling in.

"I love you. I love you too Soobin! I really do.." Taehyun shouts still crying.

Soobin starts to smile as he walks closer to Taehyun. The warmth of his smile spreads to his eyes, and Taehyun feels a flutter in his chest. Soobin reaches out, gently cupping Taehyun's face in his hand, his thumb tracing the line of Taehyun's jaw. Taehyun leans into the touch, feeling a sense of peace wash over him. Soobin pulls Taehyun closer, wrapping his arms around him in a tight embrace. Taehyun melts into Soobin's arms, feeling safe and protected. The world outside fades away, leaving only the comforting warmth of Soobin's embrace.

"So will you take my offer? Can you be my boyfriend?" Soobin asks once again. Looking down he can see Taehyun nodding.

"You'll wait for me, promise? I'll try to stay in contact with you. I'll come back, I promise." He says as he lets go,
"I need to go now. Don't cry, okay?" Soobin adds on as he wipes Taehyun's tears.

Soobin leaves to board the train that's heading to the airport. He turns and sees Taehyun wiping his tears as he tries to hold his tears in. Soobin smiles and waves goodbye to Taehyun. As the train door closes Taehyun waves goodbye to him, no longer being able to hold his tears. Soobin couldn't help but cry too as the train leaves.
