We had a few days until Christmas left. We decided to spend time together, watching Christmas movies, baking, and just getting into the Christmas mood. At first, Bradley didn't want to celebrate. Not under my watch. Christmas was one of my favorite holidays if not my favorite. So I stopped him there on the spot, telling him how we would celebrate. As he heard my plan, he didn't protest. This is how my plan went:

At first, we needed the right decoration. I didn't have any at my dorm, and Bradley only had some Christmas lights from the parties of the last couple of years. So we used that. It was more than it looked like at first glance - the whole house was illuminated in bright colors. At this same time, it was the only house lit in the area, thus all of the students went home to their parents to celebrate. It was just me and Bradley for almost two weeks, alone.

We also got a Christmas tree. Bradley wanted to buy the biggest one he saw, but I wouldn't allow it. We decided on a middle-sized Christmas tree with some red decorations. We decided to keep it traditional and simple. We also got stockings, one for me and one for him. We didn't have a fireplace, so we placed it near the TV. We also brought some scented candles which lit the living room for the next few days almost nonstop.

Bradley documented our whole Christmas journey on his phone, making a little digital diary for us. We also posted some pictures online after considering it for two days. Bradley was scared and didn't want to go online at first, but when I told him how most of the people at the party thought we looked cute together, we posted it. We got a few mean comments, but the majority of the comments were positive and supportive. This really helped Bradley to feel accepted and better about his sexuality.

The next step of our Christmas journey where the movies. We both made a list of Christmas movies we hadn't watched yet and a list of movies we watched already and wanted the other one to see. I wasn't that surprised when I learned that Bradley didn't see almost any Christmas movies. His parents looked like the only thing he was allowed to watch were their old football matches. So we made a list of movies, ranked them, and then proceeded to watch them in that order.

The first time Bradley saw 'Home Alone', he was so scared for Kevin that it was hilarious. At the same time, he found it funny but didn't want to admit that, since it was a kid's movie. 'Home Alone' is a classic and one should be grateful they had the eyes to watch it.

Bradley said he really didn't like the Christmas rom-coms., but I could see right through his lie. He cried a couple of times and screamed at the characters when they did something stupid. He looked so invested.

The third step is relaxation. That was Bradley's idea. I thought we were relaxing quite enough by watching the movies, but apparently, that wasn't the case. He introduced me to yoga and spa nights. At first, I didn't enjoy yoga, I thought it was too girly for me. But as he showed me how to properly do the exercises, I was dying. Most of them were so hard, I couldn't even do them, but Bradley did them with almost no effort, making my admiration for him bigger. He was so bendy.

The spa nights were amazing as well, I liked them the minute we did them for the first time. He made my nails, at first just shaping them and treating them, showing me how to properly take care of them. Afterward, we did the couple trend with eye-colour-nail-polish. I painted my nails light blue, he his dark brown, almost black.

Bradley wasn't sure about it at first, since we weren't a couple anymore and he didn't want to pressure me, but I insisted, already having a plan on how to get him back in my mind, clear as day.

We also made face masks. They were so annoying to me. The store-bought ones were always falling off my face, not staying in their place. But the ones we did together at home, the DIY ones, they were amazing. We usually connect the spa nights with a movie, and it was really funny how Bradley was just so invested in the movie he started eating the cucumbers meant for spa treatment. He didn't even realize it, blaming me later for forgetting to cut the cucumber. We took so many pictures with the face mask on, having a separate folder just for those.
