The Talent Show was going to start in an hour and Charlie was nervous to say the least. She saw that Cherri Bomb actually did pretty good at advertising the performance because there were at least 15 sinners in the lobby, finding their seat. Charlie had set out 25 fold out chairs and she assumed that it would be more than enough.

"Where's Alastor?" Nifty looked around as she continued to stab insects before they reached the crowd. Charlie glanced toward the hallway, expecting him to round the corner anytime now. She knew that he fell asleep pretty soon after she left him, partially because she could hear his radio static snoring before she closed his door. He said he would be here to practice before the show started but that was 30 minutes ago.

"I'm sure he'll be here any minute. Don't worry!" Nifty smiled in reply and ran off to chase a centipede. It didn't take much to reassure the little girl. Charlie let her face fall once she was out of sight.

"Don't worry, if Smiles doesn't show up you can always do the song as a solo!" Angel appeared behind her. She looked at his outfit and was stunned to see how it sparkled. It was a neon pink bikini type attire that had more glitter than anything she had ever seen. His black heels made him even taller and Charlie wondered how he walked in them, much more danced in them.

"Yeah fuck that red dickhead!" Cherri appeared around the corner in a very similar outfit. She had a neon pink bra that sparkled just as much but had black shorts to pair along with her matching heels with Angel. Charlie had to admit, they looked amazing! She was very excited to see their performance. What little she saw when they were practicing a few days ago, she knew it was going to be incredible.

"Guys have a little more faith in him! It wouldn't kill you, ya know?" Charlie placed her hands on her hips when she felt a gust of wind come from behind her. Angel and Cherri's faces fell slightly as Charlie then felt two hands on her shoulders.

"Oh Charlie, but they're already dead!" Charlie twisted her neck around and saw Alastor, looking good as new.

"Glad you could finally join us!" Charlie scolded him but with a slight hint of humor. She turned to face him and noticed how his gaze swept over her, from her toes to the roots of her hair.

"Please tell me that this is not what you plan on wearing." Alastor pointed at her outfit with a long digit which made her look down at her clothes. It was her same pantsuit but she decided to wear her hair up in a nice bun with a few strands of hair down to frame her face.

"I wear this everyday. What's wrong with it?" Alastor grabbed her hand and gave her a twirl as he pulled her into his arm.

"You said it yourself! You wear this everyday. This shall be a performance of the highest caliber and it calls for a more deserving ensemble! Come." Alastor pushed her around the corner of the parlor where they were alone. Charlie finally managed to look down at Alastor's outfit and noticed that he himself wasn't dressed in his usual outfit. He was wearing a black button up shirt with a long red tie. His charcoal pants clung to him in all kinds of ways, Charlie noticed with a blush. The only thing he wore that he always had on him were his black shoes.

"So what do you suggest that I wear then?" Charlie crossed her arms as Alastor took another step toward her. He was far too close for Charlie's comfort level but she wasn't exactly going to complain about it.

"I don't think what I would suggest would be appropriate for the public eye, my dear." Alastor whispered in her ear as he grew closer. Charlie wasn't sure if it was because of his electric charge or something else but she felt electricity shoot up her spine and into her hair. Alastor was certainly feeling better since he slept and re-charged himself. He wasn't the flirty type by no means but he was still surprisingly good at it. At least he seemed happy now. Alastor chuckled and placed a hand to his chest.

"Aha! Never too early for a good joke before a performance!" Charlie felt a smirk grow on her face. She didn't see the harm in playing along with him, especially since he was in such a good mood. Who was she to spoil it?

"Funny." It was Charlie's turn to invade Alastor's personal space. She reached for his tie and pulled him back towards her. She looked at his throat and noticed that he gulped.

"I was just about to say that you are wearing far too many articles of clothing yourself." Charlie felt a haggard breath come from Alastor that swept across her face. Their bodies were borderline pressed against each other as they were looking at each other intensely. Charlie could feel the tension in the air, which only fueled her desire to keep going.

"Am I to assume that you'll dress me in what you'd like for me to wear or do I need to go change myself?" Charlie whispered, mostly because she didn't want anyone else to hear her and Alastor's playful banter. Alastor's smile was pulled tight as he desperately tried to find his composure.

"Do not tempt me, dearest." Alastor chuckled darkly. Charlie was about to rebuttle when she felt a warm gust of wind and smoke swirl around her. In an instant she felt all of her clothes disappear but before the smoke dissipated she felt new garments hug her body. She coughed and in the process let go of Alastor. She stepped back and looked at what Alastor decided to adorn her with. She gasped at the sheer beauty of what she was wearing. It was a dark crimson dress that had diamonds embezzled throughout the entirety of it. Her neckline was deeper than she would've preferred but she wasn't going to complain. A small bit of her cleavage was showing but not enough to make it look trashy. She also realized that her bun was down and her blonde hair had slightly curled, being draped over her shoulders and onward to the small of her back. Her own pair of black heels weren't too high so she would be able to walk in them easily. She looked up at Alastor who's smile softened significantly. He was looking at her like she were a prized gem and she couldn't remember the last time she felt so beautiful.

"This...this is so beautiful. Thank you Alastor." Charlie watched as Alastor took a few steps toward her and removed a piece of hair that had drifted to her face. She looked up into his eyes and could see that for once, his eyes were smiling too.

"Do I look ok?" Charlie wasn't sure why she asked, she knew she looked amazing! For some reason, she wanted to hear Alastor tell her.

"My dear, in a room full of art I would still stare at you." Alastor cocked his head as he took another sweeping glance of her. She was sheer perfection at it's finest. He watched as Charlie turned beet red from her collarbone to her forehead. He chuckled at her reaction.

Charlie looked down and noticed that she had actually messed up his tie. She reached forward and began to straighten it up again. Alastor looked down at her hands then back at her in awe.

"What? I messed it up so I figured I'd fix it." Charlie mumbled as she tightened the knot.

"Feel free to mess it up anytime you'd like." Alastor quipped. Charlie looked up at him through her thick eyelashes and he had to remember how to breathe. He knew she didn't mean to but she looked incredibly sultry in that moment and it took all of his self control to not magic them away to his Radio tower. It would use up a lot of his strength but Hells Bells it would be worth it.

"I'll uh...I'll keep that in mind." Charlie giggled as she laid her palms on his chest. She could hear his breath hitch slightly and feel his heart drumming against his ribcage.

"The show will be starting soon. We should probably prepare." Alastor changed the subject quickly. Charlie nodded in agreement.
