Hyunjin's POV:
Seungmin sits patiently next to me and I stare blankly at the ceiling, tissues sit discarded next to me. I think I'm scarred for life! Why didn't Jisung tell me his boyfriend was fucking insane?!??!?!? I know we're just joking around but damn, Prince Minho is scary as fuck. I should definitely be more careful around him.
Seungmin giggles, "Are you sure you're okay?"
"No~" I whine. I replay Seungmin's giggle over in my head, I guess it's okay that Lee Minho is insane if I get to spend more time with a certain puppy-like prince. But damn, I still can't believe that I can't call Jisung Hannie anymore cause apparently he took the princes last name. That's so stupid. Lee Jisung, I don't know how I feel about that. I guess you could call me the protective friend.
"Bye Seungminnie~~" Jeongin calls from the other side of the room, "I have to go but I'll see you later, yeah?"
"Yah don't leave me!" Seungmin yells back but Jeongin has already left the room. Jisung and Minho had disappeared earlier so now it's only us in the room. Not that I'm complaining.
"I guess it's only us now," I send a flirty wink in Seungmin's direction as I get off the ground. I see a small blush on his cheeks and my smile widens. Seems my charm is finally working in my favor because I'm finally attracting someone I'm interested in. This is so exciting! Thank you Jisung for making me come here!
"Y-yeah I guess," Seungmin stutters and looks away. I internally squeal at his sheer adorableness. I will personally kill myself if I fuck this up.
"Do you guys have a library here?" I quickly change the topic because how can anyone say no to a library? Books are life.
When I see Seungmin's eyes light up I know I've said the right thing. He stands up abruptly, "Yes! We have one! Do you want to go there?"
"Of course."
On the way to library I make sure to brush our hands together at least a couple times. I can tell it has an effect on the shorter boy due to his constantly red ears. Seungmin's just so cute, his dark black hair, paired with his wide eyes and cute lips is the recipe for exactly my type.
"Here it is," Seungmin says with excitement filling his voice. He opens the door and I step into the grand library. It looks exactly as Jisung said and the only word I would use to describe this is extraordinary.
I look over at Seungmin to see that he's already staring at me. I smirk at him and feel satisfied to see the red blush on his cheeks. I speak up first, "Why do you like the library so much?"
"Well, the book of course. Nothing like reading an amazing book for the first time. The feeling is....indescribable," Seungmin stares off into the distance. A soft smile takes over my face, I'm happy that the person I like shares the same interests as me. He continues, "I guess it wouldn't hurt to tell you. Another reason I like it here is because it's far away from everything. I hate the atmosphere that always seems to linger around here."
"Is it that bad here?" I ask curiously, trying to understand what he's getting at. All the people I've met, aka the princes, have been so nice. I can't imagine any of them being mean.
"It's not my brothers. It's my parents, specifically the queen, everything has to be perfect around her. It's honestly exhausting and Minho gets the worst of it since he married Jisung," Seungmin sighs and still refuses to make eye contact with me, "I don't think there's anything wrong with it but it doesn't fit the 'perfect' scene my mother desperately tries to maintain. I wish Soobin could be king, everything would be better."
I walk up to Seungmin and gently take his hand into mine, it's adorable when his eyes immediately snap up to meet mine. I whisper lightly, "I'm sorry that you have to deal with that here. What if I could take you away from here for a few days secretly?"
