Jisung's POV:
"Do you want to see something?" Minho smiles while he stands in my doorway. Admittedly this is not how I planned this day to go. I though the prince had plans or something, and also isn't he supposed to be getting Jinnie for me?
"I'm busy," I wave him off. I planned to spend this morning sulking over what happened just yesterday. The whole experience is not recommended. I swear I keep hearing that alarm and it makes me nervous.
"Busy doing what?" Minho laughs and raises a disbelieving eyebrow towards me.
"Being sad."
Minho walks into the room, uninvited may I add, and sits down on my bed, "Well that's why I'm here, just let me take you somewhere, yeah?"
I narrow my eyes at him but of course I can't say no to that beautiful face, "Fine," I huff and cross my arms. The smile that takes over Minho's face has me staring for an unnecessary amount of time.
"Let's go!" He grabs my hand and literally drags me out of the room. I let out a string of giggles as I try to keep up with him.
"Are you sure it's safe?" I get nervous quickly. They let the staff have the day off to recover from any trauma and the eerie atmosphere reminds me of the empty hallway I was almost kidnapped in.
Minho turns to me and brings a hand up to my cheek, "I'll protect you, I promise."
I smile in response and he turns around quickly, going back to dragging me through the castle. The promise reminds me of the same exact one he made yesterday and it makes my stomach fill with butterflies knowing that he cares about me.
"Minho! Seriously! Where are we going?!" I try to get him to reveal where we're headed because the walls around me remain unfamiliar.
"If I told you it wouldn't be a surprise," Minho turns around to wink at me. I roll my eyes in response, what can I say, I'm an impatient person. We reach a door and Minho lets go of my hand to open it for me. I blush at the gesture and walk through the door.
The sunlight hits my face unexpectedly and I squeeze my eyes shut while I wait for them to adjust. Once the sun isn't burning my eyes anymore I'm finally able to take in my surroundings. I let out a small gasp when I realize we're in a garden. The garden is huge, many different colored flowers dot the entire field and it makes me want to inspect every single one. The greenery is arranged into different hedge animals that line the walkways.
"Look! It's you!" I point out the cat hedge while I turn around to face Minho. He really does act like a cat most of the time and he seems like someone who would own multiple cats.
"A cat? Really?" Minho tilts his head and I swear he looks just like a cat when he does that. I just laugh and wave off his question. At this point I'm too excited to enter the garden to answer anymore of his questions. I really hope one of my favorite flowers is here, my mom used to plant these beautiful pink roses and I've taken a liking to them.
The first flowers I come across are ombre orange to pink like a sunset on a summer night. The next flowers are deep blue which remind me of the same flowers mom used to plant before they got too expensive to maintain. I keep going from flower to flower around the garden, smelling them and trying to figure out what type they are. I never thought I would be so excited to see flowers, but you really can't deny their beauty.
"Sungie," Minho calls out my name and I turn around after reluctantly pulling my eyes away from an especially beautiful orange rose.
"Yeah?" I turn around to see that he's hiding something behind his back.
