Felix's POV:

The only reason why I learned about Bang Chan was from those horrible gossiping maids that I have to deal with every day. They would go on and on and on about how handsome he is. I used to roll my eyes at them but after I met him, I fully understood what they were talking about. Is it possible for someone to be so perfect? It seems that for once those maids are right about something.

I always thought I was bisexual but after seeing Channie the word girlfriend flew right out of my personal dictionary. What is that word anyway? Don't know her.

Anyways, I'm getting off track. I am proud to admit that I am a certified stalker when it comes to Chan. I memorized most of his schedule to make sure that we would see each other in the castle halls and one time I got him to talk to me after 'accidently' bumping into him. I'm a genius, I know.

But also, did you see that the other day? He totally remembered my name! I never would've thought this day would come, my longtime crush actually remembered meeeeee! That should be a holiday or something.

The room Jisung assigned me to is actually super messy. Whoever did this is a certified crazy because goddamn, everything is scattered across the floor and dust is on every surface. I bet one of those stupid maids forgot this room. I let out a sigh in frustration, this is going to take forever by myself. All those maids ever do is gossip, like you could be doing literally anything else!

I start by dusting some of the surfaces before moving any of the furniture so hopefully dust won't fly all over the place. I turned towards the door when I heard familiar voices approaching my vicinity. I distinctly hear Chan complaining about something and I felt my heartrate speed up substantially. It seems my body can't behave normally whenever Chan is within a 100 meter radius. Maybe I'm allergic.

I start humming to myself in order to distract myself but then something I least expected happened.....BOOM! I turned around to see Channie fall through the doorway and I completely freeze, what is going on? The door slams shut again and I hear the sound of a lock sliding closed.

Chan stands up quickly and starts banging on the door, "Let me out! Minho I swear!"

"Come back in an hour, we aren't taking orders right now," The prince's voice floats into the room and I hear a giggle follow that I'm sure is Jisung. Oh my god! Did he set this up? I'm going to strangle that squirrel when I see him next time, he better start praying.

Chan finally turns around and notices me, "Oh! Felix, you scared me!" He places a hand over his heart.

I laugh nervously at the fact that yet again, he remembered my name, "Sorry, but it seems like we're stuck in here together for a while."

Chan only nods as he surveys the room, "Damn, what happened in here?" He looks at the duster I'm holding, "Ohhhh, do you need help?"

Chan flashes me a smile and my brain momentarily malfunctions, I haven't thought this far ahead! How am I supposed to have a conversation without messing anything up?!

"Haha, that's okay. It's not your job anyway," I wave him off politely, there's no way such a high ranking person would ever offer to do such a horrible job as cleaning a room.

"Who knows when Minho will decide to let us out, that unpredictable little shit. And also I couldn't refuse helping out a cutie," Channie smiles then winks at me and for the second time today my brain short-circuits. Before I can stop him, Chan starts picking up some of the overturned and out-of-place furniture. I tried to remain calm on the outside but on the inside all I could think about was him calling me a cutie and winking in my direction.

Maybe he was winking at the bookshelf behind me, you never know!! He could be in love with the books, I thought to try and calm my heart.

~+~

With Channie's help and his strength for the furniture, the two of us got the room done relatively quickly. I sighed with a smile on my face once we finished and flopped down on one of the couches.

"Wow, thank you so much!" I turned to smile at Chan who was already looking at me, causing me to blush, "That went by so fast thanks to you!!"

"Don't worry about it, I already told you I have no problem helping out cuties like yourself," Chan smiled and sat down on the couch too. He could've sat anyyyyywhere on that couch but NO! Channie chose to sit directly next to me where I couldn't escape since I was sitting next to the edge of the sofa.

"You're Jisung's personal maid right?" Chan looked at me curiously and oh my god he is sitting way to close to function properly.

"Yep! That would be me an-"

I immediately stop talking when Chan reaches out and touches my cheek. A blush takes over my face and I resist the urge to lean into the touch.

"Sorry," He whispers in a low voice that makes shivers run up my spine and pink dust my cheeks, "You had some dust your face."

Despite this comment Chan leaves his hand on my face and we lock eyes. I get lost in his dark eyes as I burn every single detail of his face into my memories because I don't know when I'll get this chance again. My cheeks heat up at our close proximity.

Channie clears his throat and pulls away quickly, "Sorry if I made you uncomfortable, I should've asked first." He goes back to being a polite person and scoots away from me, I don't like it. I have to be casual with Chan if I ever have a chance of winning his heart.

In a moment of pure sunshine confidence that I didn't know I possessed, I jump onto him and hug him. When he doesn't respond I get nervous that I fucked everything up but I'm instantly relieved when I hear him chuckle and feel his arms wrap around me too. I bury my head into his shirt so I don't have to make eye contact after the stunt I pulled.

"It's okay!" I say into his shoulder where I continue to hide out of overwhelming embarrassment. I still can't believe I did that and it seems like I can't stop the horrible outbursts, "Thanks for your help Channie!"

I let out a squeak of embarrassment immediately after the nickname comes out of my mouth. I say it all the time in my head, I wasn't thinking! Well, clearly, I wasn't thinking with this hot man so close to me! Ughhhhhh.

"Aww that's so cute," Chan brings a hand up to pat my head, "But you can only call me that if I can call you Lix."

"Deal." I shyly nod my head in case he didn't hear me.

His laugh fills the room and for the third time today my heart increases to unbelievable speeds.

If Channie keeps this up I might die before we can kiss.
