Aaryan's POV

I woke up when I heard a knock on the door. When I looked to my right, Kavya was still asleep. I got out of bed and opened the door.

"Just wanted to wake you guys, breakfast in thirty minutes," Nishit stood there. I stepped out and closed the door behind me. "Can I talk with you for a minute?" I asked. He nodded, and we started walking towards the open area.

"Kavya is a bit upset," I said. "What, why?" He looked surprised. "I don't think she and Natasha get along," I said. He stopped walking and put his palm on his face. "We had a fight yesterday before coming. I warned her not to do anything crazy. You know she isn't usually this cranky," he looked frustrated at Natasha. "Yeah, I know. Anyways, will meet you at the breakfast table in a few minutes?" We parted ways.

I went back, and Kavya was already getting ready. I got ready too, and we both stepped out of the room to the breakfast table. We took our plates and settled down at the table.

"Good morning," Nishit greeted us as we sat down. "Very good morning," I said back with a smile on my face. Kavya also greeted them cheerfully.

We finished our breakfast and then went downstairs to change into clothes suited for diving. We went to the ground floor, where we were taken out in a small boat separate from the cruise. The boat gave me a little scare, to be honest. The water looked clearer and refreshing. The four of us donned our equipment, and a guide helped us with masks, fins, and tanks. We sat at the edge of the boat, ready to dive into the water.

Nishit and Natasha went ahead and dived into the water, while Kavya and I looked at each other. We locked each other's arms and, on the count of three, jumped backward.

For a moment, I couldn't see anything other than bubbles. The guide was behind us, and everything looked a bit blurred. I saw her, her hair floating, bubbles coming out of her mouth, and her eyes locked onto mine as we smiled at each other. We stayed close, and she never let go of my hand. The guide led us, and we saw beautiful fish swimming around. My head felt so relaxed at that moment, I couldn't describe it. Her tight grip on my hand made me melt a little.

It was an eye-opening experience for both of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed it till the end. We were taken back to the cruise, covered in towels, and laid down in the sun for a moment in the open area. Luckily, there were very few people around.

"That was something," I said, panting and looking at the sky. "It was quite amazing," she spoke while breathing heavily. Drops of water were visible all over her body. Her wet hair attracted me to get lost in them. I just looked at her, and she laughed and asked what I was doing. "Nothing, just enjoying a beautiful view," I said. She blushed a little.

We soaked ourselves and changed into regular clothes, then went for a light lunch before taking a nap in the afternoon. I swear, scuba diving was fun, but it definitely sucked all the energy out of me.

We were told about the evening dance, so we got ready for it after a few hours and went there. We could see the setting sun, couples chatting with each other while sitting at the tables near the border.

We found ourselves a table and sat across from each other. To our left was a beautiful view, light music playing in the background. Few couples were dancing in the middle, including Natasha and Nishit. We were so involved in each other that we didn't even notice them.

She looked so beautiful with the sun rays falling on one side of her face. "So, do you like dancing?" I asked out of curiosity. She was taken aback by the question. "Me? Oh, yeah, I can dance," she said, flaunting a smirk. "What about you?" "Me?" I paused. "I only danced at people's weddings, you know," I almost laughed. "But I'm not bad, you know," I shook my head a little with a playful smile. "Want to find out?" I offered, really hoping not to get rejected.

She placed her hand in mine, and we stood up. The song played out.

"Aayi aisi raat hai jo... Bahut khush naseeb hai Chahe jise dur se duniya.. Vo mere kareeb hai Kitna kuch kehna hai fir bhi hai dil mein sawal kahi Sapnon mein jo roz kaha hai vo firse kahun ya nahi Aankhon mein teri..."

Our eyes locked with each other. I placed my right hand on her waist, and she raised hers to grab my shoulder while our left hands held each other, and we started moving to the rhythm. Oh my god, I couldn't stop smiling. I could see her face turning red.

After a while, I wrapped my hands around her waist and rested my head on her forehead. Our noses touched sometimes. It felt so intimate. We weren't even worried about people around us; we were just lost for those few minutes in each other.
