Sam (Part One)

Outside of a building, Sam was walking alongside a fence dragging his fingers against the chains as a Basketball game was going in the lot, in front of him. As he got closer to the game, one of the boys who were playing missed his shot with the ball rolling towards Sam as he picked it up and asked “Can I play?” 

“Yeah, you're too small,” said one of the other boys who were playing basketball. Then he reaches out for the ball “Ball,” he said.

“Ball? What ball?” asked Sam as he shot the ball from where he was as he made it disappear into the hoop “What did you do to my ball,” said the young alien boy.

“Oh, your ball. It's over there,” Sam said as he uses his powers to make it reappear right behind them.

“Man, you are a freak,” said the boy.

“You should've let me play,” Sam said, walking away from them. Sam then hears a voice coming from behind him “Hello Sam,” said the voice as he turns around and sees a doll.

“That boy was not very nice. He should have let you play,” said the mystery voice from the doll. 

“My big brother said that it doesn't matter what others think of me,” Sam said as the doll let's a annoyed sigh. 

“Yeah…but you can do things other kids can't, like make things disappear. I'm Candy Sunshine and I want to be your friend,” said Candy Sunshine.

“You’re a talking doll,” said Sam.

“Oh, I'm so much more than that,” Candy Sunshine said as Sam squinted his eyes at her, what he didn't know was that in space, Mora was using some type of devices to communicate with him as Evelyn walks in her room “What the fuck, are you doing?” she asked as Mora shushed her.

“I'll be your friend and give you anything you want. And you have to do one little thing for me, and I'll even send you a criminal…I mean, a friend of mine to help. His name is Bugglesworth, he wants to be your friend too,” Mora said as she drew a monster on her sketchbook as it came out of it.

Mora puts the device away as she turns to Evelyn “What do you want Evelyn?” she asked with venom in her voice.

“Will Mora, I came to get my book back that you borrowed from me,” Evelyn said with the same amount of venom as Mora. As she walks out of the room, Mora rolls her eyes as she sees Sam walking away with Bugglesworth.

In his room Leo was playing a melody on his guitar that he learned when he was young as he held his half heart necklace in his hand. As he remembers his first time playing it as if it was yesterday.

Flashback

Leo was playing his guitar on the steps of his front porch with Elizabeth sitting on the second step of the porch. As Leo stops playing his guitar “So, how was it,” he asked.

“That was great, L” she said with a wide smile.

“Thanks, I just learned it yesterday,” Leo said as he sensed Elizabeth’s smile on her that brought joy in his heart “Do you want me to play it again?” 

“I would love to,” Elizabeth said as Leo started to play his guitar.

End of Flashback

Z was listening to her music as she held her half heart necklace in her hand, that's when she heard Bridge talking to the others “No, no, no think about it! The six of us have powers, we’re all here, at the academy, Power Ranger!” he listed off to Syd “ The odds are astronomical!” Z walked up to them as she stood next to Jack.
