Caleb

I'm creeping her again, but I can't help it.

She's been posting non-stop on Instagram since our breakup and It's insufferable. Bikini pics, her out on hikes, out at restaurants - she did this before we broke up but it hurts so much differently now.

Is she doing this with someone else? Why does she look so damn happy and I'm feeling like this...

Alone.

"I'm telling you, all you need to do is get under someone else. Best trick in the book."

I groaned, flinging a pillow at Tonys head. He's sitting on the other side of our L couch in our living room. He's absolutely no help during any of this. It's hard to imagine we've been friends for so long.

"I don't want to get under anyone else, you dickwad. I want her and only her."

"Since when don't you want sex? I'm just saying, you don't usually think straight when you haven't busted a nut in a while. When was the last time you got laid?" He shrugged.

I groaned even loader this time and shoved my face into the pillow underneath my head. He's right. I haven't gotten laid in so long. Days are starting to get longer, I'm starting to feel like a different person. I hate this. But honestly, thinking about sleeping with someone else right now makes me feel nauseous. I can't imagine it.

"I only want her dude, what don't you get?"

"Well, than you should've just proposed to her like your dad has been begging you to do! If that's what she's been wanting, you're stupid for not doing it." He yelled.

Wait.

I sat up in my spot and stared at his face.

"You actually may be on to something." I gasped.

"I am?" He asked sitting up himself.

"Yeah! Why don't I just ask her to marry me? This feels awful, and honestly - marriage could be...cool." I shrug.

"...cool?..." Tony's looking at me now like I have five heads and honestly, I don't blame him. I don't sound that convincing.

"Yeah! Marriage could be cool! Plus, I'd have Sarah back and my Dad would be super happy and leave me alone finally. This could honestly be the best thing." I said racking my hand through my hair.

"Dude, are you sure? It kinda sounds like you may be rushing into it. If you need someone to suck you off - don't you have like a million girls in your phone?"

"Ugh! You're not getting it!" I got up off the couch and walked over to our kitchen island where my MAC laptop was sitting pulling up google flights.

"Woah, woah, woah, what are you doing?" Tony scrambled off the couch and to my side.

"In her latest story on Instagram, it shows that she's in Toronto. I can leave now, grab a ring, pop over on a flight and surprise her in Toronto. It's romantic or whatever." I shrug checking flight times.

There's one leaving tomorrow at 6am - perfect.

"You don't think this sounds a little crazy? What about work?"

"I'll tell my dad what I'm doing. He'll be so overjoyed he'll give me the week off. It's perfect." I answered.

Tony exhales a long breath and leans on the kitchen counter shaking his head. "You're a wild one, Caleb. I admire you."

I give a little smile. "Watch and learn, young Padawan. I'm about to catch myself a wife."
