I don't know what Caleb was up to but he was up to something.

This mornings breakfast was uncomfortable to say the least. It didn't make me feel good knowing that Caleb felt the exact same way about my sex life as Sarah did.

Was it really that bad that I've never been with someone else before? I guess... it was a little unusual for someone my age. But whatever!

So what, I didn't want to throw myself around like Caleb does. If his sex life is anything like how it was in high school, he's a walking science experiment. Not my vibe, at all.

Sex means something to me and sharing that with someone isn't something I want to just hand out freely. I guess I'm just different.

All these thoughts are making me want to find Sarah even faster. For clarity and for some... sex? I guess? Ugh! Caleb getting into my head YET AGAIN.

I stormed behind him as he walked through the crowd. For some reason he decided to take me to Church Street where pride was being held.

There is a good chance Sarah is here since she is bisexual and loves this sort of thing. However, how in the world were we supposed to find her in the midst of all of these people?

Thankfully, Caleb's height made it easy to follow. We were tall so moving through a crowd is easier than anything.

I kept my eyes on his back as he pivoted through the crowd. Couldn't help but notice his muscular back as he weaved his way through. Wearing an open buttoned down linen shirt, I watched amazed as how confident he seemed. I don't think I've ever seen him unsure of himself or nervous.

With a toothpick in the corner of his mouth, he looked back at me to make sure I was following him and smiled when he saw that I was. What a weirdo. I hated the way my stomach made a flipping feeling. He always got that out of me and I hated it.

"Come on. Keep up." He said reaching out for my wrist. I went to pull it back but he was too quick. I shuddered at the sudden touch of his warm skin. It was a hot day and this gesture wasn't cooling me down one bit.

The music along the street was booming as we continued to walk through. His hand still wrapped around my wrist. I wanted to feel shy but there wasn't any denying that this environment was probably the safest environment to be. No one was judging his hand on me here which smoothed down my anxiety.

I looked around to watch all the plentiful of different individuals and couples here. Girls holding guys hands. Girls and girls. Guys and guys. Theys and thems. There were so many different people all coming together! Laughing and having such a great time.

Don't get me wrong, we see a lot of this type of energy in New York too but it was nice to see it all here... all at once...

Caleb finally came to a stop as we clearly came up to a vendor of some sort.

"Hey!" A tall young man, about our age walked around the corner to greet us. His booth was decked out in stickers, pins, flags and all the other merchandise you'd need to fill a pride piñata.

"Hey, hows it going? We're in need of a few pins, please." Caleb stated reaching into his pocket.

"What? No. Caleb, I'm fine. I don't-"

Caleb waved me off as the guy gave me a weird look. "Do you want the original rainbow or I could give you your specific flag? Or both?" He smiled. I watched stunned as his eyes shifted to me. "Which flag will you be rocking?" He asked me. Was he hitting on me?

I opened my mouth and turned to Caleb. He was smiling and clearly trying to hold in a laugh. Was this a joke to him? I huffed. "I'll take the rainbow pride colours please." I stated.

Caleb's eyebrows rose. He was shocked. HA! Didn't think I would do it.

"I'm actually very comfortable with my sexuality, Caleb. If you're trying to make me uncomfortable, you're going to be very disappointed." I rolled my eyes.

Caleb laughed. "Oh, is that right? Comfortable you say? Mr.Barely- slept-with -the-same-girl-for-four-years."

I couldn't help but lightly shove him in the shoulder. What a dickwad.

"I never should've told you that." I shook my head.

"You didn't have to tell me. I could read it all over your face." Caleb snickered.

The guy returned with two pride pins and Caleb quickly handed over money to pay him.

"Thanks. And hey, I hope to see you later." The guy says while his eyes linger on me.

"Yeah...Bye!" I awkwardly laughed before walking away with Caleb. What's with men always hitting on me? First, my boss and now this guy? Do I have a sign on my back?

"Whenever something like that happens, you get all fidgety and nervous. It's clear you've never really had a sexual experience before. Not really." Caleb shrugged as he pinned his button on his shirt.

"Yeah well... shut up." I muttered doing the same.

"You know what we need? Drinks and a show!"

Caleb laughed skipping away again. This guy is going to be the death of me. I roll my eyes as I continue to chase after him through the crowd.
