One year later

"To the left! Pivot!" Tony shouted. Caleb and I moved the bedframe up tilted it into the service elevator.

Successfully, we managed to fit it inside and stood back panting.

"You know, since this is your bedframe - you could help a little bit." Caleb shook his head. He was wearing a black bandana to hold his hair out of his face and no shirt. It was taking everything in me not to claw at his sweat body. I'll have to deal with it later.

"I am helping. You need a director, you can't just go flinging things down the hallway every which way." Tony huffed. Caleb rolled his eyes at me but all I could do was laugh.

These two bicker back and forth like brothers but I know the love runs deeply. This move was going to be hard for both of them.

Tony was moving up state to rent a place with his twin brother who was in a tough spot and needed a roommate while Caleb and I were going to move in together in my city. We found a small two bedroom apartment which we decided we'll use the spare bedroom as an office.

Honestly, I'm really excited. This past year with Caleb has been more than a dream. He's my best friend so getting to spend more time with him without worrying about being things like, being too loud or walking around naked, will be amazing.

Of course, I'm a little nervous for having to decide things like what to make for dinner every night or splitting the bills, yada yada yada. All that not so fun stuff, but we've discussed it all during our nights together leading up to it. I mean, we've been travelling non-stop to each others apartments since being together so we've had the chance to test it out. And the things we haven't discussed, it's all just a part of how fun it'll be figuring it out.

I leaned on the elevator wall as it carried us down.

"So, did I hear correctly that Sarah and your Marcus are dating?" Tony smiled, looking back at me.

I shrugged my shoulders and laughed. "She caught us up on their long-distance fling last night, yeah."

Caleb smiled at me. "How long do you think before he's catching a flight to Australia?

"I'd give it another month." Tony smiled at both of us.

The elevator dinged and the doors opened. As a unit, we guided the bedframe out of the hallway and out the back doors, scooting it into the moving truck waiting for Tony.

"Well, that's about it." Tony said, slipping a small box on top of all his stuff. Closing the two doors, he stood back with his hands on his hips and looked at us both. "This isn't the end. I'm seeing you both next Wednesday at our gig on 16th street."

"The Cat's Cradle, I'll be there." Caleb nodded, wrapping his friend up in a hug.

Tony closed his eyes, squeezing him back. Sighing, he looked at me before letting Caleb go. "And don't let this guy get fat. He likes to eat sweet treats when he's feeling lonely." He said, throwing his arm around me.

I hugged him back. "You definitely don't have to worry about him feeling lonely."

Tony rolled his eyes and stepped back. "Yeah, what was I thinking? This is probably the longest you two have been upright since being together." He huffed, shaking his head.

I laughed, scratching the back of my neck. Tony definitely heard way too much since living with us.

"Take it easy buddy. Don't be a stranger." Caleb patted him on the back.

"That was amazing." I moaned, sitting back on the couch.

"Right?" Caleb brushed his fingers off over his plate and leaned back into his seat. "Who needs sex when you have pizza?" He folded his hands behind his head and sighed. I took a moment to look over his body - his V lines pointing directly down to where I wanted to go. What a sight.

I licked my lips and sighed too. "Okay, I wouldn't get ahead of ourselves with that one. Pizzas great but this morning? Can't compare." I said, nuzzling my face into his neck.

He laughed, running his hands through my hair. "Okay, fair. But pizza is still pretty high up there."

"That I can agree with." I smiled into his neck, giving him a quick bite before sitting back up straight.

The apartment felt empty without Tony. I looked around, taking it all in. In a few days we'd be right behind him. Moving into a totally new place, starting fresh. Together.

"Does it ever shock you how far we've come? I mean...who would've thought we'd end up here." I breathed in deeply. My love for him is overwhelming. Even after all this time, I still can't believe he's here with me right now. He chose me.

And I'd choose him again and again.

He bit his lip looking at my eyes and then at my mouth and back again. "No way. I think somewhere in me always thought this was going to happen. I always had you right here." He tapped on his chest.

I reached out and grabbed his hand.

"I love you so damn much, Caleb." I said, squeezing his hand.

"I love you more, Nathanial." He answered, pulling my hand to his mouth and giving it a tender kiss.

I leaned in and connected our lips in a soft, gentle kiss.

He was mine and I was so his.
