Genna grew desperate to tell one of the marauders but knew that if she did she'd be in big trouble.

She layed staring at the ceiling. Tonight she had opted out of staying with the marauders, knowing herself, and knowing she would end up telling them.

She had spent the past few nights plotting how she would tell them. Sure, she was told not to, but then again, what could they do? Snap her wand and expel her? Adult Sirius had taught her wandless magic and while she definitely struggled she was sure she would be able to master it.

She could pull them aside, explain everything to them, leaving out some major details, like Harry's mother. Convince them to drop Peter, they would find a way to brew the ageing potion and then she could really fast destroy all the horcruxes, then Voldemort would be weak and the final blow could be delivered while he slept.

She sighed and rolled over. She knew it wouldn't be that simple. Things never were.

She sat up and went down to the common room. After a few minutes of doing nothing but watching the fire crackling she reached towards the chain around her neck then frowned.

Right. She thought. I took it off at potter manor.

After a long while of avoiding it, she let herself think about the past. Future? Time travel is confusing.

She sighed, again, and remembered what Remus had said when she first wore the necklace.

"It was a horse for her at first too, it mirrors your patronus or animagus form. If that changes then so will it."

She frowned, I'll have to wear it again. They have to see it as a horse.

She was about to make a mental note when something else came to mind.

August 19th
2000
(Ginny is 19)

Ginny and Remus sat across from each other at a muffle pub in London, she was zoned off, playing with her necklace as he sipped his drink.

"You know, she got that necklace in third year." He said randomly.

"Hmm? Oh, really?"

"Yes, second trip to hogsmead, she saw it in a window and immediately wanted it. Of course the charm was a dog, she wanted it and when she bought it the owner explained it magical properties.  She spent 12 galleons on it. I remember James had thaght it was ironic, twelve was the exact number she had left at the end of the trip when she naught it. She had always said 'not irony, just fate. Some things are set in stone."

Preset time (past? Idk it's almost 3 a.m. rn)

Instead the mental note was;
Third year. Second hogsmead trip.

About a week later genna sat in charms next to remix when an idea struck her. She grinned and started playing it out in her head, not seeing a way it could go wrong.

She had recently been thinking about telling the marauders about her adventure through time and dumblewhore seemed to have known. He placed a charm on he that only the caster could undo so that she was incapable of telling anyone without his permission.

However, she should still be able to show them.

After classes ended she ran up to sirus, deciding him to be the best candidate.
