CHAPTER ONE

last day of ginnys forth year (OOTP)

Ginny Weasley sat on her bed in the girls dorm with her charms book in hand. she wasnt really reading it. it was only there to make people think she was doing something.

Her mind went back to the day prior. how lucky they where. how bad it would have been if snape hadent caught them.

FLASHBACK

"HES THE ONLY FAMILY IVE GOT LEFT HERMIONE! WE HAVE TO GO HELP HIM!"

ginny, neville, jasmine and luna had heard yelling and rushed to find harry ron and hermione standing at the top of a saircase that just kept moving as they spoke.

"what's going on?" Neville asked when the stairs stopped at them.

"harry we dont know for sure! you have to confirm hes in danger before you go rushing into the ministry!" hermione tried resoning with him, ignoring neville.

he sighed. "i need a way to umbridges fire."

"What! harry that not what i meant!"

"OI what is going on?" jasmine shouted to get their attention. instead of answering her they turned to ginny. Harry spoke first. "he has padfoot at the ministry."neville, luna and jasmine had looks of confusion on thir face.

"What? how do you know?"

"he stopped taking lessons from snape and saw what v-voldem-mort was doing." Ron said, studdering through voldemorts name.

"Ginny, can you come up with some destraction so i can talk with sirius in umbrides floo?"

"harry... its really riskey. ill help."

she went to the stairs close to umbridges office and started telling people someone set off one of fred and georges products. it was going good until umbridge and the inquisitorial sqad came. Not only did they get ginny but Neville, Luna and jasmine as well. They where dragged into umbrideges office and the first thing they saw was harry, ron, and hermione being interrogated by umbridge.

"You where talking to dumbledoor werent you? tell me where he is!"

"w-we dont know!" heremione started. she went on and on trying to get them out of their mess when snape walked in.

"ahh severus good. ill need verituserum."

"i gave you the last of mine. surly you listened when i told you one drop would do, you didnt use the whole bottle did you?"

then Harry spoke up. "Hes got padffoot at the place where its hidden!" Snape looked at him.

"padfoot? whats a padfoot?" Umbridge asked.

"no idea." he said the turned and left.

Umbridge turned to Hermione and strarted questioning her. surprising everyone, Hermione caved. but, no one seemed to know whjat she was talking about. "well, lead the way. both of you."

There was a short silence as they stood there when suddenly Ron groaned. "I've got cxandy in my poker and I'm hungry, can I please have some?" he reached in and pulled out Fred and george's nose-bleed-nouguts.

"I've got some as well." Ginny said and pulled it a puking-pastelle.

"no I think we'll have those." malfoy said and as if on que every Slytherin reached into the poker of whoever they where holding hostige and searched for them. suddenly they bent over with puking or with blood pooring from thirst nose.

next thing they knew they where running out of this room after stunning the Slytherins. they made it outside the gates when harry and Hermione came running back. "how'd you get away?"

Ron spoke up first "Fred and George gave us some of their skivieng snack boxes. the idiots are them. now, how are we getting out of here?"

"you wont be."

they spun around to see snape and a fimilliar large black dog.harry looked in shock at the dog Hermione gave him a look."I told you he was fine! honestly! you really should have continued oclumucy. now were going to have to deal with umbridge and a herd of centaurs!"

harry was about to speak up but snape beat him to it. "my office now."

the walk there was silent.

snape went around and sat at his desk and the moment the door was closed sirius transformed back.

immediately luna, Neville, and jasmine had thier wands pointed at him and seconds later harry Ron Hermione and Ginny where standing in front of him.

Jasmine looked on in shock. "Harry what'd are you doing!? that's sirius black!"

"he's fucking innocent Jasmine!" Ginny shouted. she had always hated jasmine. she liked harry and was closer to harry. she was so much prettier that ginny, Ginny was jealous. sirius raised his eyebrows in shock.

"no one asked you ginerva!"

Sirius's eyes went wide and his head snapped to Ginny to see her reaction.

Ron ran over to Ginny and pulled her back into a bear hug to keep her from throttling jasmine.

"is this normal?" sirius asked.

"yes." was said by nearly everyone in the room.

he sniggered under his breath.

"SILENCEILENCE! we are year because pottah couldn't keep his nose in his own business! now! black please try to explain to your godson that voldemort planted the image in his head, though I do pity you, his skull might be to think for him to understand."

Sirius nelt down in front of harry and they has a whispered conversation that ended with harry nodding and sirius pulling him into a hug."I've got to get back to grimmuald place, harry, please explain to those three my innocence." he nodded towards Neville jasmine and luna then disappeared into the flames.
