Night, darkness and the moon

33 7 8

The night not lonely
The darkness not alone
With the Stars so many
A cresecent moon shone

So dimly lit
Yet the twinkle stays
The moonlight just enough
To light the dark pathways

And as if a smile
On the dark night sky
Beautifully the moon shone
Up above so high

In a company glad
To itself, darkness revealed
Only in awe one could be
As the beauty unveiled

So pure and complete
Such is the bond of three
Rare and unique
In a cosmic harmony

Hi readers!
I hope you love this poem. I find it quite fascinating how the moon just lights up enough to let the darkness be and how the night with a accomodating heart encompasses all the darkness in a world where everyone only wants to keep what's bright. And while pondering upon this one day, the poem came into being.
