Sandy's POV
We went home early that morning and before I knew it, it was time to wake up and get ready for school. I laid in my bed as my alarm clock rang with no remourse for my lack of sleep. Any minute now my father would be in here lecturing me about how I must get up and go to school and I have only myself to blame for coming in so late. I still question myself on why I came in around five in the morning but then again he probably wouldn't understand. I know last night he thought I was with Kyle.. He still has a strong dislike for him, even after these many years.
I sat up and looked at my clock, 6:15, I had forty five minutes to get ready so I could make the bus to the subway. I wonder how Ben and Dalia are doing? Kyle, Mick, and I left the hospital and left Dalia behind for some alone time. I can still see the blank look on her face as if she wasn't even there.
My father knocked on the door bringing me back from my thoughts. He was the over protective type that didn't really have a grip on everything because of his job so sneaking by was easy for me usually, on occasions he would catch, he knew I wasn't a virgin but never really opened up about it and to be honest I was thankful for it. He pretended as if I was still a seven year old pig-tailed girl that scraped her knee on the side walk. Which sometimes was fine but most of the time it was quite annoying.
"San. You up?"
"Yeah. I'm gettting ready right now Dad."
"Alright."
I stood to my feet and realized how tired I really was. I was a little dizzy and I felt stiff all over.
Never the less I took the quickest shower and put my hair in a quick bun, today was a sweat pants day. I grabbed my book bag and my class materials and a nice apple and headed out the door. The walk to the bus stop was only a block away so this was a great distance to catch some fresh air but not too much. My hair was still damp from my shower and a good morning breeze through it sent shivers down my back.
"A breeze with all these buildings, must be my lucky day."
I reached the bus stop with five minutes to spare, so I checked my phone. three messages, one from Carla and the other two from Kyle. When opening Carla's message the bus arrived and I got on, almost forgetting to pay my fare.
Carla: 5:21am
Heyy San, Ben's doing alright. D still isn't talking but she is eating.
If you cann could you stop by the hospital after school mayb
talk to Dalia, She could use a friend.
I replied to Carla's text with an of course and moved on to Kyle's text messages.
Kyle: 5:56am

sumwherr 2 talk. Bout the trip.. N otha stuff
Kyle: 6:10

I deleted the second text and replied 'Yea, not today though. going to the hospital to meet up with D and them.'
I was another ten minutes befor the bus stopped at my stop and I got off and went down into the subway.
----------
The bell for lunch finally rang and I went to go join my usuall table. Most of the people were out getting there lunch so I waited patiently and bit into my apple.
