Sandy's POV
I had seen this coming from a mile away, Kyle couldn't... wouldn't stay faithful to me. It was true he could try but in the end he was just like Ronnie.
Should I have forgiven Kyle so easily?
I looked at the clock 11:45 Tuesday. I had skipped school because my sister was coming down for a surprise visit for our parents and I would pick her up from Laguardia Airport at one. I didn't want to be bothered with school work and the fact that it was only tuesday made it worse.
"I need to get out this house and do something."
Today had been filled with mixed emotions and it wasn't even in the afternoon yet. I woke up excited that my older sister would finally be in town and then bawled my eyes out when I realized that my other sister, Dalia, was somewhere out there in the world with God knows who and doing God knows what. Then Kyle calls and confesses he cheated on me.
I sighed at how my day was already starting to tire me.
I tried my hardest to be upset with Kyle but to be honest I didn't really feel anything towards it... Is that bad?
I got up off my bed and grabbed my keys. I may aswell make my way to starbucks and the airport or something before I run my mind into the ground with all my thoughts.
Thank God that my dad was on a business trip and wouldn't be back until Thursday or I would have had to call a taxi.
I drove to the nearest starbucks getting road rage every now and then with the slow drivers or the tailgaters. This dumbass had tailgated until I had wormed my way into another lane; I should have driven ten times slower just to piss him off. It was around 12:30 when I finally made it to Starbucks and the line was out the wazoo.
"God, I already know I'm going to be late." I said as I stepped in the line.
"Intern picking up coffee?" A man infront of me had turned around with a smile and a five 'o' clock shadow.
"Oh no, just picking up coffee to meet my sister who is probably landing right now at the airport." I said shaking my head and laughing.
"Oh she likes coffee?"
"Only after a long trip or... a long nap", I said lying at the last part of my statement. Grace only liked coffe after two things, a long trip or great sex.
"Oh," The man said chuckling, "I don't mean to come on the wrong way but I swear I know you from somewhere."
"Washington Irving Highschool?" I asked stating my highschool.
"Yeah.. When did you graduate?"
"Oh I haven't graduated yet... You may know my sister she graduated three years before me, Grace."
"Grace... Grace Felmen?"
"Yep that's our last name."
"Shit your Grace's babysister? Wait Grace is coming back?"
"Yeah only for a little bit."
"Damn, I haven't seen her since the eleventh grade.. She was my first." The man said laughing as he remenisced about my older sister.
"Thanks for letting me know that.." I said kind of disgusted but then again my sister was known for being... friendly.
"Oh sorry. I sometimes say what I'm thinking..."
"Yeah, I see."
"Sorry. But you said she was coming in town. That's great; how long it she going to be here in New York?"
